David Spano, CFP®

Personalized financial solutions and responsible, insightful investing have allowed Dave to build strong relationships with his loyal clients.

Dave’s focus on independent advice and complete financial solutions has been the vision behind the establishment and growth of one of the premier independent financial service organizations in Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Under Dave’s direction, Annex Wealth Management® brings together high-quality, client-focused professionals from the investment advisory, retirement planning and estate planning fields to form a client service team prepared to meet the financial needs of a diverse client base.

Dave has over 25 years of experience in the financial planning profession and has earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner® professional.

Community involvement is also important to Dave. He shares his knowledge openly every Saturday morning as host of the radio show “Money Talk” heard at 10 am on News Radio 620 WTMJ. Dave has served as the Chairman of the Board of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Wisconsin, where he has also served as President and Director of Government Relations. A prominent figure in the community, Dave is the President of the Italian Community Center, Festa Italiana, and The United Ethnic Festivals. Dave also serves on the boards of Summerfest and The Historic Third Ward. Dave previously served on the board of the Lakeshore State Park and Miller Park Stadium Board (2004-2008).

In his personal time, Dave is an avid musky fisherman and spends as much time as possible in Wisconsin’s north woods. Dave and his wife Kim are raising their children, Sofia and Joseph in Elm Grove, Wisconsin.

Mark Oswald
Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Operations Officer

Mark is the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Annex Wealth Management® and is responsible for the regulatory oversight and daily operations of the wealth management firm and its affiliates. His responsibilities include the continuing development of all aspects of the firm, including regulatory oversight of all Annex Wealth Management® advisors, supervision of accounts and transactions, and compliance with US Securities & Exchange Commission and related securities rules and regulations.

His extensive regulatory experience is reflected in the core principles on which Annex was founded. First, fostering an environment of independence where all investment choices and tools are available to clients and proprietary manufactured products and quotas are never introduced. Secondly, providing a fee-based platform where Annex’s advisors are committed to providing a fiduciary relationship and are duty bound to act in the best interests of our clients. Furthermore, the integration of seasoned estate planning attorneys, CPAs and other professionals into the client-advisor relationship enhancing the firm’s abilities to deliver “complete financial solutions” to its clients.

Mark can be heard as the co-host of “Money Talk”, Saturday mornings at 10:00 am on NewsRadio 620 WTMJ where he enjoys taking calls from listeners and discussing the economy and investment strategies for the future. Mr. Oswald is also frequently asked to act as an “expert witness” in industry cases and regulatory matters.

Prior to assuming his current duties, Mark served five years as the Chief Compliance Officer for FINRA Member Firms, SII Investments, Inc. and Investment Centers of America Inc., developing and implementing all supervisory structures for those firms. In the late 1990’s, he acted in a similar capacity for Princor Financial Services, the broker-dealer arm of the Principal Financial Group. He began his more than 20 years of regulatory experience in the position of Vice-President Compliance with NYSE Member, Robert W. Baird & Co.

Mark holds FINRA registrations of General Securities Representative (Series-7), General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series-8), General Securities Principal (Series-24), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series-63), and Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series-65) with Annex Advisory Services.

Derek V.W. Felske, CFA
Chief Investment Officer

Derek V.W. Felske, CFA is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Annex Wealth Management LLC. He is responsible for establishing investment policy and strategy, strategic and tactical asset allocation, active manager selection, and the development of Annex’s discretionary managed account portfolios. He chairs the Investment Policy Committee and interacts closely with the firm’s financial Advisors. Mr. Felske joined Annex in 2011 and has more than 25 years of experience in money management.

Derek is an honors graduate from Dartmouth College with a BA degree in Economics. He earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and holds his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. As a holder of the CFA designation, Derek is bound by the CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, which, among many other things, requires a charter holder to place the integrity of the investment management profession and the interests of clients above their own interests.

Derek’s previous experience includes serving as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Strong Capital Management and American Century Investments where he managed or co-managed more than $20 billion in mutual fund and separate account portfolios for retail accounts, high net worth individuals and institutional investors. He was nationally recognized as a portfolio manager of one of “the 100 Best Mutual Funds to own in America” in Gene Walden’s best seller of the same title, as an All-Star fund manager by USA Today (1994), as a “Category Kingpin” by the Wall Street Journal (2003) and has been featured in articles published by Barron’s, Money Magazine and Kiplinger’s. He has also appeared on CNBC, Fox Business News and Public television.

A frequent guest co-host of “Money Talk” on 620 WTMJ radio, Derek lives in downtown Milwaukee and is the proud father of two daughters, Kristina and Claire.

Mark Beck
Director of Wealth Management Services

Mark Beck is the Director of Wealth Management Services at Annex Wealth Management ®. Mark is an accomplished and highly knowledgeable financial services leader with broad-based expertise in various areas of financial services, including financial planning, investment management, tax accounting, and lending.

Prior to joining Annex, Mark served as the Principal/Director and Chief Investment Officer of another Brookfield-based investment advisory firm, where he was instrumental in the substantial growth and development of the firm. Mark advocates a client-centered, systematic approach to guiding clients in their financial and investment decision-making process.

With over 15 years of experience, Mark has a substantial professional foundation in the financial services industry. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Mark lives in Waterford, WI with his wife Cathy and their son and daughter. They enjoy an active family lifestyle and participate in many outdoor activities together, including snow skiing, water skiing, mountain biking, and golf. Mark is an active member of the Waterford Area Kiwanis club.

Melissa Case
Chief Financial Officer

Melissa Case, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer at Annex Wealth Management®. Melissa has experience with corporate financial planning and analysis, budgeting, ERP system integration, strategic planning, and M&A due diligence.

Prior to joining Annex, Melissa served as the Controller to a civil engineering firm where she managed the accounting department and was a key member of the management team and acquisition team. Melissa is focused on efficiency, timely and accurate financial reporting and assisting with the strategic growth plans at Annex.

In 2011, Melissa received the CFO of the Year award from the Business Journal in the small private company category. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University. She is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA.)

Melissa enjoys playing many sports including softball, volleyball, and running. She is a volunteer member of the Hartland Athletic Advancement Association where she also coaches softball teams and runs a tournament. Melissa and her two children reside in Hartland.

Greg Batiansila
Director of Marketing

As Annex Wealth Management’s Director of Marketing, Greg is responsible for refining and nurturing the company’s brand, developing its voice, and establishing and allocating marketing efforts to engage current clients and potential new clients.

Greg has 8 children, 2 grandchildren, and enjoys spending time with family, leading worship at church, and independent filmmaking.

Brandon Arps
Wealth Management Specialist

While studying abroad in 2004 Brandon began his career in the financial services industry at ADVFN.com; a London, England based website that provides interactive charts, tools and discussion forums for investors across the globe.  After graduating from St. Norbert College in 2006 and spending 4 years helping run a local small business Brandon continued with his career in the financial services industry in 2010.  He is FINRA series 7 and 66 registered and has obtained his life, health, accident and long-term care licenses.  For the six years prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Brandon gained industry experience at BMO Harris Financial Advisors, formally known as Marshall & Illsley Financial Advisors and Marshall & Illsley Bank.  Brandon is dedicated to providing top-tier client service and takes pride in building lasting relationships.

In his spare time Brandon enjoys golfing, fishing, bowling, traveling, live music and spending time with his friends and family.

Jill Ackerman
Client Service Manager

Jill is an experienced Client Service Manager assisting clients at Annex Wealth Management’s Lake Country branch office. She is an executive administrative professional whose passion is to provide exceptional customer service. With her organizational skills and acute eye for detail, Jill is capable of carrying all client requests – from the simple to complex – and assisting the team in problem solving.

Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Jill worked as a Client Associate for a Managing Director/Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors. She also spent time as an Operations Specialist for Wachovia Securities, an Executive Admin for Advanced Pain Management, and a Customer Service Manager at Limited Brands Inc. Jill obtained a BA degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater where she created her own Individualized Major in Business, Dance, and Education.

Jill and her husband Josh love spending time with their daughters and their chocolate lab Chevy. In her spare time she is still involved in the arts and is active in helping the community by supporting many local charities. Jill loves to bake, garden, find projects around the house, and enjoys various outside activities with her family.

David G. Batten, CFP®, CIMA®, CRPS®
Financial Advisor

David is a Wealth Management Specialist working with clients of the Dave Spano Team. In this capacity, he strives to fully understand each client’s unique financial situation and life goals. David focuses on helping clients understand the pros & cons of various alternative courses of action that could be taken to help them pursue their goals.

For over 22 years, David was with M&I Wealth Management (now BMO Financial Group) and worked in the Personal Trust group, the Financial Advisory area and in Retirement Plan services throughout that time. Lifelong learning is one of David’s core values. He earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1995, the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation in 1998 and the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist designation in 2012.

David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and his Master of Science – Management degree from Cardinal Stritch University. He holds a State of Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance license and has passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisers Law (Series 65) exams.

David resides in Brookfield and when not working with clients, tries to stay physically fit to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including rock climbing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, biking, hiking and running. He is also a past member of the Associate Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee County.

Lori Beihoff
Operations Specialist

Lori is one of the many friendly faces you’ll see and voices you’ll hear when you contact Annex.  She firmly understands that client service is her first priority while providing a warm and professional experience to all of our guests every day. Prior to embracing her role at Annex Wealth Management, Lori developed strong communication and client-centric skills during more than 10 years in a fast paced Retail Corporate Environment focused on inventory management, training and marketing.  Born a Hoosier and a graduate of Indiana University, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, the great outdoors, and traveling.

Joann Bell
Client Service Manager

Joann works in Annex Wealth Management’s Elm Grove Headquarters as a Client Service Manager, where she develops and cares for current client relationships.

Joann focuses on coordinating the necessary financial planning, estate planning, and investment management needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.  Joann began her career in the financial services industry in 2002, working for Wachovia Securities, Wells Fargo Advisors and Freedom Wealth Alliance.

Joann and her husband live in Pewaukee where they enjoy all things the Lake Country area has to offer. They also take great pride and enjoyment in their daughter and son-in-law living abroad and their son’s many sporting events. When they happen to have a weekend free from sports you will find them at their cottage fishing, boating and relaxing around a bonfire.

Lee Ann Bittner
Office Administrator

Lee Ann joined Annex Wealth Management as an Office Administrator providing support to the Elm Grove Office.  Prior to Annex, she worked in the Mortgage Banking Industry gaining many years of administrative experience.  In her spare time, Lee Ann enjoy going to her cottage up north and spending time with family and friends

John Clarence Bodden
Branch Director, Lake Country Office

For more than 25 years John has been helping families navigate the financial industry.  John started his career with American Express as an advisor and quickly moved through the ranks to become a Registered Principal, teaching advisors how to help clients.

He has received numerous personal and professional honors.  For several years running, John has been named one of “Milwaukee Magazine’s FIVE STAR WEALTH MANAGERS”, a prestigious honor bestowed upon a select group of professionals after a rigorous research process.

John will coordinate all the efforts of the Annex Wealth Management Lake Country Branch, to ensure that we continue to offer the highest level of benefits to our clients.  Working closely with our corporate headquarters, each client will know that they have the experience and expertise of our vast professional team of investment advisors, financial planning specialists, estate planning department and management team.

John cherishes all of the relationships he has in his life.  Faith, family, and friendships are everything to him.  John and his wife Melissa are raising their six children, Raven, Andre, Joah, Sebastian, Braylon, and Justice in Delafield, WI.   John is passionate about his work, he understands that by serving others he can make a difference in people’s lives.   He also loves his family time, friendships, coaching, and playing sports.

Linda Bork
Office Administrator

Linda is the first face you will see when visiting our Lake Country Office.  She brings 35 years of experience in the banking industry to her role as Office Administrator.

In her free time Linda enjoys running, golfing, baking and spending time with her new granddaughter. She is an active member of St Mary’s Parish in Waukesha, where she is currently serving on the Finance Council.

Amy Bremmer, MBA
Client Service Manager

Amy Bremmer is an experienced financial services professional who thoroughly enjoys helping clients achieve their financial goals.  Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Amy worked at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, JP Morgan’s Private Wealth division in Milwaukee and Chicago and Global View Capital Advisors in Waukesha.

Amy was born and raised in the Milwaukee area.  She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in French from UWM in 2006.  Her studies took her to Paris where she spent a year learning about international business practices and interned at AON.   In 2012 Amy graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Alverno College.

Amy is an accomplished SCUBA diver with over 100 career dives, most of them in local Wisconsin lakes.  She is passionate about sharks and protecting the oceans.  Amy lives with her husband Matt, stepson Jacob and their Rescue Toy Poodle Charlie.

Kathy Croak
Client Service Manager

Kathy joined Annex Wealth Management as a Client Service Manager at our Mequon Location in July of 2014. She brings over 20 years of financial industry experience to the team including work in banking and retirement plans.  Kathy is passionate about providing superior customer service to all the clients in the Mequon office.

Kathy and her husband Dan, live in Whitefish Bay. Their daughter Michelle is a student at University of Wisconsin-Madison. They are all avid Badger fans.

Al Dearing
Financial Advisor

Al Dearing is a FINRA registered representative with over 30 years of experience in financial services. He has been a Registered Principal and past-President of Elmbrook Financial Services over the last 25 years.  Al’s responsibilities at Elmbrook have included the supervision and management of the firm’s daily operations in addition to advising his own personal clients.

Al has received both the 2010 and 2011 Five Star Wealth Manager award featured in Milwaukee Magazine. This award seeks to spotlight an elect group of representatives who are exceptional in both ability and commitment to client satisfaction. In identifying the award winners, a survey field including both clients and financial service professionals were asked to evaluate their advisors based on criteria such as; integrity, communication, customer service, knowledge/expertise, value and overall satisfaction. Less than five percent of Milwaukee area advisors were selected for this award.

Al and his wife Sandy are long time residents of Elm Grove, where they are active in their family and church life.

Brenda Doucas
Operations Specialist

Brenda joined the Operations Team at Annex Wealth Management in February 2016 as an Operations Specialist.  In this role, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to clients and supporting the departmental needs of the firm.

Brenda holds a BS degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater with an emphasis in Communications.  Prior to joining Annex, she applied her skills across multiple functions in the Medical Services Industry, and before that as an at-home mom raising her two daughters for 12 years.

In her free time, Brenda enjoys spending quality time with her husband Paul and family, cheering at her daughter’s sporting events and multiple outdoor recreational activities.

Michael Duffy
Registered Principal

Michael Duffy is a Registered Principal, working with the clients and professionals of Annex Wealth Management. Michael contributes to, coordinates, supervises, and trains on many aspects of the professional services provided by Annex. With a focus on the firm’s compliance functions Michael is responsible for helping to ensure Annex is efficient, effective, and compliant with business policies, industry regulations and standards. Michael exhibits attention to detail, is responsible and resourceful, and is a primary point of contact for the professionals of Annex as they cater to the needs of their clients.

Michael has a passion for problem solving and developing long-term relationships. He has over 16 years of solid industry experience in the areas of compliance and operations, as well as providing comprehensive financial planning, products and services to institutions, small businesses, individuals and households. Michael has passed the following FINRA qualification examinations: General Securities Principal (Series 24), General Securities Representative (Series 7), Futures Managed Funds (Series 31), and Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66). He is also Wisconsin Insurance Licensed in Life, Accident & Health.

Michael is raising his family in Wauwatosa, WI with his wife, Jolie. A graduate from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, he was awarded the Holy Cross Presidential Scholarship four years in a row and participated in collegiate athletics as a member of the football program. He is a past member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors at Marquette University High School, has helped to plan the MUHS Annual Golf Invitational, and has been a volunteer assistant football coach there as well. Michael is a parishioner of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish and is currently an active volunteer in many areas of Wauwatosa Catholic School. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and mentoring, participating in team sports, and being outdoors.

Stephanie Emons
Senior Client Service Manager

Stephanie serves as Senior Client Service Manager, serving the clients of the David Spano Team.  She acts as liaison between clients and custodians as well as coordinating client’s service requests.  Stephanie also executes multiple day-to-day administrative operations and is a primary point of contact for all of the team’s clients.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management®, Stephanie served as a fundraising director and special event manager for several area non-profit organizations.  She worked primarily with sponsors and donors to raise needed funds for programs and services in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Stephanie serves on the West Allis/West Milwaukee School Board, is the PTA President at her son’s school and is active in other volunteer organizations.  She is an avid reader and sports fan and spends free time at her son’s little league games or at Miller Park.

Chad Fawcett
Wealth Manager

Chad Fawcett is a Wealth Manager working with clients of the Dave Spano Team. In this capacity, he strives to completely understand each client’s unique financial situation and goals to help customize a strategy that is specific to them. Chad places a high emphasis on educating clients so they understand the implications of financial decisions and how those play a role in helping them pursue their financial goals.

Prior to Annex Wealth Management, Chad spent over 10 years working in the financial services industry. The majority of that time was spent with a large discount brokerage firm where one of his responsibilities was helping high net worth investors conduct an interview process to find a fiduciary advisor that fit the clients specific needs. He also spent considerable time helping clients develop a financial plan to help put them on track to reach their financial goals. Chad prides himself in communicating with clients in a simple and understandable way instead of using complicated finance jargon.

Chad earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from UW- Eau Claire while playing on the Men’s Tennis Team. Subsequently, he earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Marquette University. Chad and his wife, Mandy, live in Brookfield with their two young children. In his personal time, you can find him chasing around his young kids, playing tennis, or spending time in Door County. He is also a two time Ironman Triathlon finisher.

Susan Felton
Client Service Manager

Susan serves as a Client Service Manager to the clients of Annex Wealth Management. Susan executes multiple day-to-day administrative operations and is one of the primary points of contact for Annex clients.

For the past 11 years Susan has enjoyed raising her three children; prior to that she performed administrative operations at SysLogic, Inc. and Cap Gemini.

Susan is involved with her children’s various sports / activities, school, and church.  She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family.

Jason Ganiere, CFP®
Wealth Manager

Jason Ganiere is a Certified Financial Planner working with the clients of the Dave Spano Team. In this role he works directly with clients in exploring personal goals, developing solutions, implementing sound financial plans and helping clients monitor their successes and challenges along the way.

Jason pursued a career as a financial planner after serving his community for years as a law enforcement officer. Jason has obtained both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as a Certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University.  Jason has passed the following FINRA exams: General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination (Series 65).

Jason and his wife, Marie, reside in New Berlin with their two daughters, Valerie and Melissa. In his free time Jason enjoys fishing, skiing, and cheering on his daughters at sporting events.

Robert Godfroy
Financial Advisor

Robert is a Specialist providing his many years of industry experience to the Annex Central Financial Planning team.  He brings more than 20 years of professional experience to the team, having previously provided financial services to a wide variety of clients in the greater Milwaukee area.  Personal financial planning has always been a passion for Robert and he believes that the process continues to be one of the best and most effective ways for clients to achieve their financial goals.

After graduating with honors from Iowa State University with a BSCE and five years practicing Civil Engineering in Alaska, Robert began a successful financial services career with an office on Milwaukee’s suburban south side.  The opportunities to teach adult education classes, prepare and help implement personal financial plans, and to work extensively with a wide variety of clients helped further both his interest in the industry and a lifelong career.

FINRA Series 6/63 and Wisconsin Life, Accident & Health licensed, Robert is a native of the Milwaukee area and currently resides in Wauwatosa with his wife Jean.  Together they enjoy time spent with children and grandchildren, travel, hiking, sporting events and church activities.

Susan Gonzalez
Client Service Manager

Susan is a Client Service Manager for the Dave Spano Team. She enjoys working with clients and other professionals on a daily basis. For the ten years prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, she gained industry experience at BMO Harris Financial Advisors, formerly known as Marshall & Ilsley Financial Advisors.

Susan obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Her professional licenses include her Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance license, General Securities Representative registration (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law registration (Series 63) and Uniform Investment Adviser Law registration (Series 65).

Susan and her husband, Victor, live in Brookfield with their son and two dogs. Her community activities include: Co-Vice President for Dixon Elementary PTO, Special Interest Chair of High Interest Day, Treasurer for Boy Scout Pack 56, and a Teacher’s aid for St. John Vianney’s Christian Formation program. When not volunteering, Susan enjoys reading, swimming and photography.

William H. Haise
Client Acquisitions

William H. Haise is a Financial Advisor of Annex Wealth Management LLC.  Bill has enjoyed a successful career in the financial services industry spanning over 45 years.  He began his career in 1968 as a registered representative with the Milwaukee Company, a regional brokerage firm and member of the New York Stock Exchange.  From there, Bill joined Offerman & Co. as a Regional Manager out of their Minneapolis office.  In his management role at Offerman, Bill developed and oversaw five offices along with 30 representatives, providing leadership, training, and sales promotions.  In 1993, Bill was hired as the President of Wellington Investments.  Two years later, he ventured out to start his own wealth management firm, Capital Resource Group. Bill sold the company in 2008 after 13 years of prosperous development and growth.  In 2011, Bill joined Annex Wealth Management as a consultant and registered investment advisor.

Bill is actively involved in community charitable efforts.  From 1988 to 2011, he served on multiple committees for the board of the Lombardi Cancer Foundation.  Since 2008, Bill has also served on the board of the Bobbie Nick Voss Colorectal Cancer Foundation.

Bill is also an avid golfer and an active member at North Hills Country Club. In 1987, he was elected president of the club after serving four years on the board.  He resides with his wife, Linda, in Menomonee Falls.  They have enjoyed raising three boys, and keep busy chasing around four beautiful grandchildren.

Sandra Hanson
Office Administrator

Sandy’s smile is often the first thing you’ll see when you walk into Annex Wealth Management’s Mequon branch office. She brings years of experience to her role as Office Administrator, including 6 years working with a Financial Advisor specializing in 401(k) plans, and 5 years working with an Advisor in the Commodity Trading arena.

Sandy finds much joy with her husband, two children and two grand-daughters. Summers are spent at the “trailer” – luxury camping near Wisconsin Dells.

Jack Hauser
Financial Planning Specialist

Jack serves as a Financial Planning Specialist for Annex Wealth Management on the Central Planning Team and brings a passion for working with numbers and analytics.

Jack joined Annex Wealth Management in June of 2017 after working in data analytics and marketing for a distribution company. Jack graduated from UW-Madison in 2015 with a degree in Personal Finance.

Jack is a lifelong Badger fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends in Door County.

Bob Immen
Client Service Manager

Bob Immen is a Client Service Manager for the clients of the Dave Spano Team. Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Bob worked for Envestnet | Tamarac specializing in reporting systems & custodial data management, and HighTower Advisors as a Client Services Associate.

Bob is a native of the west coast, having been born in Portland, OR and later moving to Phoenix, AZ. He earned a Bachelor of Science in both Economics and Marketing from Marquette University, which is where he came to love Milwaukee and the Midwest.

Bob lives in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Eileen. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, and Marquette basketball.

Denis Johnson
Wealth Manager

As the leader of our Appleton location, Denis brings over 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Annex, he enjoyed a successful career as the Owner/President of American Financial Strategies, a retirement planning firm. In that role, he educated and guided his clients through the complexities of asset accumulation, retirement, and the end stages of life. He is now committed to providing comprehensive financial planning, estate, tax, and insurance services to meet and exceed the goals of each individual here at Annex.

Denis holds Securities licenses 6, 7, 63, 65, and is licensed in Life and Variable products.  Denis has been rated in the top 25 producing mid-west region financial advisors for a prominent mutual fund company.

Faith, family, friends, and community are extremely important to Denis. He has traveled extensively with 18 short-term mission trips around the world building churches and orphanages. Denis was involved with the development of the endowment program for an Illinois hospital, has been named volunteer of the year for Central DuPage Hospital, is involved in Rotary International(including past president and is a Paul Harris Fellow), and  has served on the Communications Committee in Winfield, IL. During his free time, Denis enjoys singing on the praise team at church, golfing, camping, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends.

Ron Johnson, CFP®

Ron Johnson is a Financial Planning Specialist on the Annex Central Planning Team.  He has a long history of understanding client’s financial goals, then creating and implementing solutions.  At Annex, Ron continues to help clients define and develop realistic plans designed to assist them in meeting their financial objectives – while keeping them on track and focused on their goals.  He also works internally with Advisors on financial planning concepts to create top of the line deliverables to our client base.

He has over 20 years of financial industry experience helping clients with investment advice, retirement planning, finding debt solutions, evaluating insurance needs, and financial planning.  Ron has the necessary professional experience and has met the educational and ethical requirements to carry the marks of a Certified Financial Planner®.

Ron has recently served in many volunteer roles including most recently serving as an adult tutor for Milwaukee Achiever.  Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management Ron was with SJA Financial Advisory and spent 11 years with Park Bank.

Ron currently resides in Whitefish Bay with his wife, Christine, and together are raising their two young children, Max and Maggie.  He is a graduate of Marian University where he was a member of the golf team.  When time allows, he can be found wandering the fairways of Milwaukee’s many golf courses.

Sarah Johnson
Client Service Manager

Sarah is a Client Service Manager in our Appleton location.  She has always enjoyed working with people and has many years of customer service experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Annex, Sarah worked as the Branch Office Administrator for a successful retirement planning firm.  Sarah has owned a business, Professional Trust Funding, where she assisted local attorneys with funding the client’s personal trusts and filing of documents with local government agencies.  Sarah also worked for 20 years as an Assistant Vice President of Life Client Services, Life and Accelerated Death Benefit Claims, and Central Files for First Penn-Pacific Life Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group.

Sarah has her life insurance license, Associate Customer Service (ACS) and Associate Life Health Claims (ALHC) certifications.

Sarah’ faith, family and friends mean the world to her.  In her free time, she enjoys serving in her church, going for long walks, golfing, camping and snowmobiling.

Katie Knurowski
Client Service Manager

Katie has been handling a wide variety of administrative duties since entering the financial services industry in 1999.  Along the way, Katie was promoted to Client Service Manager where her primary responsibilities include client service and satisfaction, as well as administrative support for financial advisors Allen Dearing, John Sobiech and Dean Strom.

Katie and her husband Steve live in Milwaukee and enjoy spending their time with their family’s sporting activities, attending Brewer games and playing the occasional round of golf.

Rick Kula
Wealth Management Specialist

Richard A. Kula is a financial professional supporting and assisting clients in meeting their personal wealth management needs at Annex Wealth Management. Known by his colleagues, clients, family, and friends as Rick, he works closely with Mark Beck as a member of the David Spano Wealth Management Team. As a Financial Planner at Annex, Rick’s specialty is in working with businesses and non-profit organizations in developing tax advantaged retirement savings programs such as 401(k), 403(b) and SIMPLE IRA plans.  As a member of the David Spano team, Rick also focuses on developing and maintaining strong personal relationships with individual clients and families.

Rick began his career in the financial services industry in 2003. A graduate of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Rick was a double major in Business Administration and Marketing. To date, he is FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registered, and has attained his life, health and long-term care licenses.  He has assisted numerous clients with gaining an understanding of their current financial position, how it aligns with their financial goals, and developing a customized financial plan designed to meet their needs. His personalized approach helps clients chart a course for financial aspirations, giving them the information and helping them build confidence they need to strive towards their retirement goals.

Rick resides in Muskego, Wisconsin with his wife Angela and his son and daughter.

Cliff McWhorter
Financial Advisor

Cliff began his financial services career as a life insurance agent with Transamerica Occidental Life in 1988. He moved on to Aetna in 1991 and continued to help service clients with life, health, disability needs insurance issues but also began laying the groundwork to become an investment professional. In 1997, Cliff became an independent broker servicing clients with insurance and investment needs and has continued to develop expertise in many different areas of the financial industry. Cliff is now proud to be a member of Annex Wealth Management LLC.

Cliff is committed to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in his relationships with clients. The ultimate goal is to find suitable solutions to each financial issue that a client may encounter and solve those issues with the client’s best interests in mind. Cliff’s most important goal is to establish an ongoing relationship with his clients through customer service, problem solving, staying in touch and monitoring plans that have been established. The focus of his business is financial and investment planning but his insurance background continues to be a great value to clients with insurance needs and particularly health insurance as laws change in this country.

Cliff has a double major in Accounting and Business Administration from Illinois State University. In addition to his insurance license, Cliff has also successfully passed the Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), General Securities Representative (Series 7), and the Uniform Investment Advisor’s Law (Series 65) exams.

Cliff lives in Arlington Heights, IL and is very happy to be a grandfather. He enjoys most sports and continues as a director in the Northern Illinois Girls Feeder Basketball Association.

Courtney Mielke

Courtney graduated from The University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Courtney has worked in the customer service industry for eight years. While she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, and traveling.

Matthew Morzy
Associate Wealth Manager

Matthew Morzy is an Associate Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management. He works closely with Director of Wealth Management Services Mark Beck and Wealth Management Specialist Jackie Sklenar to assist clients in their financial planning needs.

Matthew has over ten years of experience in the industry working with clients and attending to their financial goals.   He has spent the majority of that time helping to educate investors on the financial markets and how to best plan for the future.

Matthew graduated in 2005 from Carroll University with a Bachelor’s degree in finance and 2014 from Marquette University with a Master’s in Business Administration.  To date, he holds the series 7, 24, 63 and 66 securities licenses and is currently studying for the Certified Financial Planner® designation.

Matthew lives in Waukesha, WI with his wife Abbie and their son Levi.

Michael Murtos, CFP®

Mike has over 20 years of experience in Financial Services including 17 years at M&I Financial Advisors and M&I Wealth Management (Now BMO Financial Group) and five years at an independent advisory and financial planning firm.

He has experience in many areas of the industry including financial and retirement planning, trading, project management, operations and investment management. Mike graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) exams. He also holds State of Wisconsin Life and Health insurance licenses.

Mike uses his extensive and diversified experience to help educate and guide clients to their investment and financial goals.

Mike lives in Menomonee Falls with his wife Mary and three children. He enjoys golf, running and watching and volunteering for his kid’s hockey and soccer teams.

Patrick Noble
Financial Advisor

Patrick Noble is a Wealth Management Specialist at Annex Wealth Management servicing the firm’s clients with a specific focus on retirement plans.  Patrick’s duties range from on-site participant enrollment and education to incorporating the services and expertise of the David Spano team.  In order to truly serve the needs of our diverse client base, Patrick works closely with Central Planning to help participants with an overall financial plan for themselves and their families.

After graduating from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Behavioral Science, Patrick has worked at some well-known investment managers; Oppenheimer Funds, New York Life Asset Management, and Franklin Templeton Investments.  He brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services to Annex.

Patrick grew up in New Jersey and has lived in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.  He and his wife Susan decided to make Whitefish Bay their home 10 years ago to be near family and raise their two sons, Harrison and Robert. Away from work Patrick is a busy father and husband and is a patron of the arts in Milwaukee, particularly the Milwaukee Ballet.  He also volunteers his time with the “Friends of the Domes”, helping out at various Milwaukee County Domes events.

Patrick O’Halloran

A native of Milwaukee, WI, Patrick has been an independent financial advisor assisting clients since 1991, specializing in the areas of retirement planning, creative income strategies, money management and estate planning.

Patrick has established key relationships throughout the financial services industry, which keeps him abreast of current trends and products.

Thorough fact-finding, communication, and personal attention are cornerstones for Patrick in helping clients focus on the “big picture” and implement solutions to help achieve their financial goals.

Patrick is a graduate of Life Underwriters Training Council and attends ongoing continuing education courses. Tom Parks, AIF®, CRPS®
Director of Retirement Plan Services

Tom Parks, AIF® CRPS® holds the position of Director of Retirement Plan Services at Annex Wealth Management, LLC.  He has specialized in qualified retirement plan administration, education and consulting since 2001.  Tom works with executives and human resource professionals to craft a corporate retirement plan benefit that is tailored to the unique needs of each organization.

After graduating with a degree in philosophy and economics from St. Norbert College Tom spent two years as a volunteer in Quito, Ecuador.  His professional career started at the M&I Trust Company where he educated both English and Spanish-speaking plan participants on the importance of preparing for retirement.  His subsequent experience in plan administration and consulting provided Tom with a unique knowledge base for delivering comprehensive retirement plan services to the clients of Annex Wealth Management.

Tom lives in Elm Grove with his wife Maria Dolores and their three children Sofia, Máximo and Lola.  The Parks family is involved in a variety of philanthropic endeavors and Tom is actively engaged in civic affairs.

Allie Peters
Creative Designer

Allie serves as Annex Wealth Management’s lead graphic artist and is a critical part of content creation.

She joined Annex Wealth Management as Marketing Assistant after graduating with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing from Concordia University Wisconsin.

Outside of work, Allie enjoys building her personal art portfolio and spending quality time with friends and family.

Deanne Phillips, CFP®, CDFA®
Director of Client Learning & Development

Deanne joined Annex in August 2015 as the Director of Client Learning & Development with over 18 years of holistic wealth management experience.

Previously, she was Director of Investments for BMO Private Bank in Milwaukee, responsible for over 225 high net worth account and over $200 million in client assets; serving on the Women & Wealth Steering Committee and as a senior leader and mentor for the company’s Diversity Council.  Before BMO, she spent 10 years at U.S. Bank as a Senior Portfolio Manager, providing investment management solutions.

A member of National Speaker’s Association, she has written and conducted several presentations nationally, the Savvy Women & Investing series, Single in Retirement, and Selling to Women.  Deanne holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University in New York City, N.Y.  In 2001 she received her certified financial planner (CFP) designation.  She has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 2000 serving as president for the FPA of Southern Wisconsin in 2014 and is currently a co-founder of the Femmes of Finance group.

Deanne was honored to be selected as one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “40 under 40” in 2004 and is very active in the community. She is a past instructor with UWM’s Continuing Education Department, and has over 10 years in non-profit sector before her financial career, teaching at various institutions locally including: Northwestern University, Milwaukee Area Technical College, St. Francis High School, and as a founding teacher for First Stage Milwaukee’s Theatre Academy and Company Class.  Her past board memberships include In Tandem Theatre, Washington High School’s advisory council, Crossroads Search & Rescue of Illinois, and Wisconsin Special Response Team-A, Inc., through which she certified her basset hound in human remains detection with National Narcotics Detector Dog Association.

She is a member of Professional Dimensions, a networking group for executive women, and founding mother of the Celiac Support group for Children’s Hospital.  Deanne spent two years (2009 & 2010) as a Featured Expert for Rockford, IL TV channel 13 WREX 6pm news in weekly business series, “Making Cents,” and can be heard locally as a guest on “Money Talk” on 620 WTMJ radio, and “Investment Talk” on 1130 WISN.   Deanne’s an avid gardener, loves traveling and British history, and lives in Oak Creek with her husband Brian, and daughter Kara.

Stacy Plahmer

Stacy joined the team at Annex Wealth Management in July of 2013. She serves as Operations Specialist, always willing to lend a hand to assist the department to be its best. Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Stacy worked for BMO Harris Bank. While attending Mount Mary College, she held various positions at Robert W. Baird & Co., Kohl’s Corporation and U.S. Bank. Stacy and her husband Chad have three children, James, Lilly and Jake. In her free time Stacy enjoys spending time with friends and family and experiencing all that Milwaukee has to offer.

Amanda Ploetz
Client Service Manager

Visitors, callers, and guests of Annex have all recognized Amanda for her warm greeting and professional approach to delivering first-class client service. Amanda has dedicated many years to providing an outstanding customer experience through brand representation and brand awareness on both local and nationwide events. Client focus is her number one priority. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, and exploring all that Milwaukee has to offer.

Ben Rejniak
Financial Planning Specialist

Ben serves as a Financial Planning Specialist for Annex Wealth Management on the Central Planning Team.  His professional skills include Personal Financial Planning and Investment Analysis.

He joined Annex Wealth Management after graduating from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.

While not at work, Ben spends his time staying active, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying all things sports-related.

Erin Rossman
Team Analytics Specialist

Erin Rossman joined Annex Wealth Management in January of 2013.  She serves as a Team Analytics Specialist for the all of Annex Wealth Management.

Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Erin worked on the Intermediary Client Services team at Artisan Partners Limited Partnership.  While attending Wisconsin Lutheran College, she held various marketing internships for Roaring Fork Restaurant Group and Sony Music Entertainment.  She also served as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Student Affairs at Wisconsin Lutheran College.  In December of 2012, Erin graduated with a degree in Communicative Arts, focusing on Marketing and Spanish. In her spare time, Erin enjoys experiencing the great outdoors, attending concerts, and enjoying everything that the great city of Milwaukee has to offer.

Kahrrin Russo
Senior Operations Specialist

Kahrrin joined Annex Wealth Management after 3 years of overseeing the operations department of another financial company in Southeastern, Wisconsin. In the past she also managed a team of interior designers where she was recognized as top Sales Manager.

She attended both Carroll University and University of Phoenix and received her Bachelors in Business Management. Kahrrin and her husband David have a beautiful daughter, Mia. In her free time she loves catching a baseball game or just spending time with her family.

Joe Schilz
Financial Advisor

Joe Schilz, CPA is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.  Joe has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987.  He has owned his own CPA firm since that time, employing a staff of eight and providing tax and accounting services to more than 350 business and 2000 individual clients.

Joe began working in the financial services industry in 1997, and has been registered with Annex Wealth Management since 2006. During that time he has been recognized as a two-time winner of the Five Star Professional Wealth Manager award as it appears in Milwaukee Magazine.

Prior to joining Annex, Mr. Schilz served as a Field Auditor for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue for four years.

Joe enjoys sports and fishing in his spare time.  He and his wife, Jackie, have three daughters and reside in Muskego.

Jeff Schouten, CFP®
Branch Director, Mequon Office

Jeff Schouten is the Branch Director at our North Shore location in Mequon. In this role, Jeff leads an office that is committed to providing the same array of quality financial services and expertise as the Elm Grove office, including comprehensive financial planning across investments, estate, tax and insurance to meet the needs and goals of each individual.

Jeff has over 35 years of business experience, most notably with MillerCoors in Milwaukee and Chicago. In his career, Jeff held various business management positions, specializing in marketing and retail category management, with a deep experience in the grocery and convenience store businesses. He is currently a board member of the National Association of Convenience Stores, and holds an MBA and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Jeff and his wife are natives of the Milwaukee area. Jeff is involved in the local music scene, performing annually at Summerfest and local charity events. He is also an avid bicycler, participating in charity rides and riding just for fun. Jeff and his wife reside in Mequon. They have 2 children – all are Packer owners and big-time Packer fans!

Andrea Schwenker
Client Service Manager

Andrea Schwenker joined the Annex Wealth Management team in April 2014. Her role as part of the Dave Spano team is Client Service Manager. Placing an emphasis on positive client relationships is her main focus. She brings to the table an upbeat personality and keen attention to detail which contributes to an overall enjoyable client experience. Prior to joining Annex she worked as an annuity specialist for Northwestern Mutual. Andrea graduated from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in Communications.

Andrea was a prior collegiate gymnast and continues to coach competitive Gymnastics. She and her husband enjoy working out, traveling, and attending Badger, Brewer and Green Bay Packer sporting events.

Jackie Sklenar
Financial Advisor

Jackie is a Wealth Management Specialist working with clients of the Dave Spano Team.  In this role, she actively works with new as well as existing clients in facilitating the wealth planning process.  Jackie is instrumental in capturing client’s needs, conducting portfolio reviews and in keeping clients on track throughout the planning process.

Jackie has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has held Officer/Vice President positions at BancMutual Financial, Northwestern Mutual Investment Services and Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated.

Jackie holds the State of Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance licenses, FINRA registrations of General Securities Representative (Series-7) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series-63) and has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

Jackie and her husband, Jeff, are raising their three children in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.  She enjoys family time, the outdoors, golfing and watching her children participate in sporting activities.

Kim Skow
Client Service Manager

Kim works at Annex Wealth Management as a Client Service Manager.  Kim is committed to working with the Annex team to provide an exceptional client experience.  Before working at Annex, Kim worked as a Wealth Analyst at BMO Private Bank where she provided a variety of assistance to the Wealth Management Group.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Kim and her husband Ken reside in Mequon with their three children, Michael, Alexandria and Jeffrey and their two dogs, Samantha and Riley.  Most of her free time is spent on the sideline of her kids sporting events, volunteering at school and church or managing soccer teams.

John Sobiech
Financial Advisor

John’s personal and professional goal is to strive to be the most ethical, trustworthy and useful consultant to his clients. By being committed to providing independent, objective advice and financial direction in the areas of investment management, estate and personal financial planning, he can help his clients to identify their financial planning goals and together, take action toward achieving them.

He understands the magnitude of the responsibility associated with helping his clients in the financial planning for their entire life. John develops comprehensive, personal financial plans, supported with strong investment products, tailored specifically to each client’s needs. Over time, he helps individuals and families turn their dreams of sending their children to college, providing for retirement, and accumulating assets for financial security, into attainable, real solutions that can improve their lives. Every aspect of a client’s plan requires continuous monitoring and communication, and it is a responsibility that John takes very seriously.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, John also has numerous years of ongoing training, education, registrations and licensing in multiple states. His background, with over 25 years of experience and insightful perspective, give John’s clients the confidence to partner with him for the long term. John is driven by a steadfast commitment to delivering high level results and exceptional client service, all with a genuine, personable approach and a profound respect for the trust that clients place in him.

John, and his wife Janet, live in Richfield surrounded by an assortment of flora and fauna. He enjoys gardening, beekeeping, fishing, curling, geology, history and visiting National Parks.

Dean Strom
Financial Advisor

Dean began his financial services career in early 2000, with Elmbrook Financial Services, as an independent financial advisor.  Since joining the Annex team in 2012 he continues to garner trust, thanks and admiration from his clients while helping them to reach their goals and dreams.

Dean’s business mission is simple: To add value to his clients’ lives.  For some that may mean the desire for superior customer service.  Others may need retirement planning assistance or college savings ideas, while some simply request a sympathetic ear.  But nearly all of Dean’s clients ask for his help in limiting stock market risk and volatility and ensuring that they don’t outlive their retirement assets.  No matter what the need, Dean puts his all into adding value for his clients.

Dean services clients in over a dozen states and holds his FINRA requested Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. Dean is also life insurance licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois.  He is a life-long southeastern Wisconsin resident and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with a major in mass communication and a minor in history.

Dean lives in Muskego, where he is active with the operation of the cities award winning school district. Dean is married and enjoys spending time with his wife Melanie and young daughter, Lindsay.  He also enjoys time with friends, traveling and many different forms of outdoor water activities—swimming, fishing and boating.

Ken Symes
Associate Branch Director

Ken is a Wealth Management Specialist helping clients with the financial planning process.  He works with clients to determine their needs and goals and maintains portfolio performance to keep them on track throughout the planning process.

Ken has a diverse background giving him a unique perspective on investments and world markets having nearly 10 years trading experience concentrating in the options and foreign exchange (Forex) markets.  Ken has a degree in Forestry and an MBA.

In addition to the State of Wisconsin Life and Health insurance licenses, Ken also has FINRA registrations of General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66).

Ken moved back to his hometown Port Washington in 2008 where he and his wife Cathy are raising their two children Ainslie and William. Ken enjoys spending time with friends and family, Wisconsin sports and outdoor recreation.  He also enjoys volunteering for community groups and currently serves on the Port Washington Main Street Economic Development committee.

Robert P. Teofilo
Registered Representative

Bob has been a Financial Advisor full time since 1979.   His primary role for these many years has been to help his clients navigate through the many challenges of their financial future.  The philosophy that Bob has worked with since the very beginning is that, “If you always work with the client’s best interest at heart, everything else takes care of itself.”  He considers it an honor to serve his clients and takes their trust in him very seriously.

Together his wife Kathy, Bob has nine children and two grandchildren.  Bob considers himself very blessed and feels an obligation to offer as much time as he can to volunteer, as all his family does, to numerous church and school organizations.

Shannon Thurner
Client Service Manager

Shannon works in Annex Wealth Management’s Elm Grove Headquarters as a Client Service Manager, where she develops and cares for current client relationships.

Shannon facilitates the necessary financial planning, estate planning, and investment management needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.  After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s in Finance, Shannon began her career in the financial services industry in 2001, working for US Bank, National Investment Services, and SJA Financial Advisory.  She her Series 65 license (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination).

Shannon and her family live in Merton where they enjoy all things the Lake Country area has to offer.  

David Tiutczenko
Wealth Manager

David Tiutczenko is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. David has been in the financial services industry for his entire career with positions ranging from managing branch teams to working with high net worth individuals.

Prioir to joining Annex, Mr. Tiutczenko served as Head of Private Wealth-Wisconsin for the PrivateBank and Trust Company.

David enjoys playing Volleyball, basketball, and spending time with his children. He is an active coach in the Pewaukee School district.

As a Wealth Manager, Tiutczenko will develop and strengthen current client relationships, as well as establish new connections for the firm.

 

Mike Venturini
Financial Advisor

Mike works in Annex Wealth Management’s Elm Grove Headquarters as an Financial Advisor. There he relies on many years of experience to nurture Annex Wealth Management’s current client relationships, as well as establish new connections – especially in the Racine and Kenosha areas.
Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Venturini served as Director of Operations and Investment Advisor Representative at Investment Advisors in Mount Pleasant, Wis., where he was instrumental in the growth and development of the firm. Mike’s financial experience includes working with both Northwestern Mutual Life and Wells Fargo Advisors. His qualifications include Series 7, 63 & 65 registrations, Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC®) designation and a State of Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance license.
Currently, Mike resides in Racine with his wife Kate and three children. During his time outside of Annex Wealth Management, he enjoys playing golf, boating and spending time with his family.

Chris Weber
Financial Advisor

Chris Weber is a Wealth Management Specialist working in our newly opened Lake Country office.  With over 20 years of investment management experience, Chris works hard to identify the key areas of need for each client and then delivers solutions that will provide peace of mind and allow clients to achieve their goals. Chris and his family reside in Sussex, WI. Faith and family mean a great deal to Chris, and he channels those values  by being active with his Church and coaching various youth sports teams.

Randy Winkler, CFP®
Central Planning Manager

Randy Winkler is a Financial Planning Specialist who leads the Annex Central Planning Team.  His career is based on a passion for serving others and helping them reach their goals.  At Annex, Randy works with clients to help them define and develop realistic plans designed to assist them in meeting their financial objectives – while keeping them on track and focused on their goals.  He also works internally with Advisors on financial planning areas such as retirement planning, social security elections, tax planning, and insurance analysis.

He has over 14 years of financial industry experience helping clients with investment advice, retirement income planning, asset allocation, and financial planning. Along with the CFP® certification, Randy has passed the following FINRA exams: General Securities Representative (Series 7), Investment Company and Variable Products Representative (Series 6), Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65), and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63).

Randy was recently part of a large WI-based international business networking group and has been active in the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Board of Directors, chairman of the Ambassador’s Committee, and chairman of the Business after 5:00 Committee.  He also won the Chamber’s award for “Best in Ethics in Sales & Networking” in 2007.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management in January of 2012, Randy held various financial advising positions with A.G. Edwards, Disciplined Financial Services, and Harris Investor Services.  Randy graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Mathematics.  He enjoys travel, fishing, reading, playing guitar and bass and is active in the New Apostolic Church.  Randy is a long time resident of Elm Grove.
