Dave Spano, CFP®

Chief Executive Officer

David J. Spano is the Chief Executive Officer of Annex Wealth Management.

As CEO, Dave provides and implements the vision for the entire firm. Dave’s 35 years of experience in the financial services industry has helped to shape the vision behind the establishment and growth of one of the premier independent financial service organizations in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Under Dave’s direction, Annex Wealth Management® brings together high-quality, client-focused professionals from the investment advisory, retirement, tax and estate planning fields to form a client service team prepared to meet the financial needs of a diverse client base.

A prominent figure in the community, Dave has served as Chairman of the Board of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Wisconsin, the President of the Italian Community Center, Festa Italiana, and The United Ethnic Festivals. Dave also served on the boards of Summerfest, The Historic Third Ward, Lakeshore State Park and Miller Park Stadium Board, as well as the finance committees of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School and St. Mary’s Visitation.

In his personal time, Dave enjoys golfing and is an avid muskie fisherman, as well as spending time with his wife Kim and their two children.

Melissa Case

Chief Financial Officer

Melissa Case is Chief Financial Officer at Annex Wealth Management.

As Chief Financial Officer, Melissa oversees and forecasts the company’s growth, as well as monitors its balance sheet, all while managing human resources. Melissa is focused on efficiency, timely and accurate financial reporting and assisting with the strategic growth plans at Annex.

Prior to joining Annex, Melissa served as Controller at a civil engineering firm.

She graduated from Indiana University with a BS – Accounting, and received her MBA in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Melissa is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accounts, and was named CFO of the Year in 2011.

Melissa enjoys playing and coaching softball, and spending time with her children.

Mark Beck

Chief Growth Officer

Mark Beck is the Chief Growth Officer at Annex Wealth Management. He is a frequent contributor to our weekly radio programs, and a member of our Investment Committee.

As Chief Growth Officer, Mark focuses on developing growth initiatives, nurturing strategic relationships, and aligning Annex team efforts. He is responsible for directing and contributing to Annex’s firm-wide growth trajectory.

Maintaining sustainable growth allows Annex to support its goal of continuous improvement while deepening tools and resources for clients.

Mark holds his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and he has been an advocate for the fee-only, fiduciary wealth management model since his introduction to the profession.

Derek V.W. Felske, CFA®

Chief Investment Officer

Derek V.W. Felske is the Chief Investment Officer at Annex Wealth Management.

As the Chief Investment Officer, Derek is responsible for establishing investment policy and strategy, strategic and tactical asset allocation, active manager selection, and the development of Annex’s discretionary managed account portfolios. He chairs the Investment Policy Committee and interacts closely with the firm’s financial Advisors.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Derek served as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Strong Capital Management and American Century Investments.

Derek graduated from Dartmouth with a BA in Economics, then earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Derek is an avid golfer and a proud father of his two daughters.

Lori Beihoff

Client Operations Specialist

Lori Beihoff is a Client Operations Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Operations Specialist, Lori assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients, including scheduling, investor research, and paperwork preparation.

Lori earned her Bachelor of Arts at Indiana University.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Lori worked in corporate retail focused on inventory management, training and marketing.

Lori enjoys spending time with her family, the great outdoors, and traveling.

As a Wealth Manager, David meets with prospective clients, working to secure the client relationship and then oversee those relationships for the long-term. Wealth managers conduct initial portfolio reviews with prospects and clients to determine or validate current investment objectives; prepare recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning team; and engages in business development to deliver results.

David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UW – Milwaukee and his MS – Management degree from Cardinal Stritch University. He has passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisers Law (Series 65) exams.

Before he worked at Annex Wealth Management, David was with M&I Wealth Management (now BMO Financial Group) and worked in the Personal Trust group, the Financial Advisory area and in Retirement Plan services.

David enjoys rock climbing, kayaking, and biking.

Jill Ackerman

Client Service Manager

Jill Ackerman is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Jill assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Jill has over 11 years of experience working as a Client Service Manager and over 25 years working in customer service relations. She takes pride in her work, thrives when helping others, and delights in building meaningful relationships.

Jill has a BA from UW Whitewater with an Individualized Dance, Business and Education Degree. In her free time Jill teaches dance at Kay’s Dance Academy in Mukwonago, independently choreographs, and performs for other events in the Milwaukee area.

Jill lives in Wales with her husband Josh, daughters Victoria, Harper, Gabbi, and chocolate lab Chevy.

Greg Batiansila

Managing Director of Marketing

Greg Batiansila is Managing Director of Marketing at Annex Wealth Management.

As Managing Director of Marketing, he leads marketing strategy and develops message and voice across multiple platforms, using metrics to ensure the brand is communicated effectively.

Greg earned his BA from Concordia University Wisconsin.

Before he worked at Annex Wealth Management, Greg worked in marketing at Edgenet.

Stephanie Emons

Manager of Learning & Development

Stephanie Emons is the Manager of Learning & Development at Annex Wealth Management.

As Manager of Learning & Development, Stephanie drives organizational growth and employee potential by developing and implementing impactful learning strategies and programs that align with business objectives and fosters a culture of life-long learning. She strengthens the team’s continuous development by designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive training and professional growth initiatives that equip Annex staff and leaders with the skills needed for ongoing success.

Stephanie has been a member of the Annex team since 2007 and previously served as the Manager of the Client Service Team for more than a decade. She has been critical in shaping the client service experience our clients enjoy today.

Stephanie lives in West Allis and volunteers regularly in several community programs and youth sport organizations. She is an avid reader, writer, and baseball fan.

Brenda Doucas

Administrative Coordinator

Brenda Doucas is an Administrative Coordinator at Annex Wealth Management.

As an Administrative Coordinator, Brenda ensures all administrative operations are running smoothly at Annex to supply a quality experience. She is also responsible for maintaining brand consistency throughout all Annex branches. Brenda serves as a point of contact for both employees and guests, in addition to providing support to the Executive Team on scheduling, integral projects, and events.

Brenda earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Before Annex Wealth Management, she worked in the Medical Services Industry and worked as a stay-at-home mom for her two daughters.

Brenda lives in New Berlin with her husband and has two grown daughters. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, and cooking.

Kathy Croak

Supervisor – Client Service

Kathy Croak is a Lead Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As Lead Client Service Manager, Kathy manages and supervises processes and procedures for our Service Team. Kathy serves as one of the primary points of contact for Annex Wealth Management’s client service related requests. This includes managing daily client service requests and inquiries; coordinating follow-through on account inquiry; financial planning and maintenance requests; preparing and scheduling client reviews; maintaining client records; and managing outgoing client communications.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Kathy worked in the financial industry for over 20 years in banking and retirement plans.

Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, who is enrolled at University of Wisconsin.

Amy Bremmer, MBA, CFP®

Wealth Manager

Amy Bremmer is a Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Wealth Manager, Amy meets with prospective clients, working to secure the client relationship and then oversee the relationship for the long-term. Wealth Managers conduct initial portfolio reviews with clients to determine or validate current investment objectives; prepare recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning team; and engage in business development to deliver results.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Amy worked at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, JP Morgan’s Private Wealth division in Milwaukee and Chicago and Global View Capital Advisors in Waukesha.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies from UW-Milwaukee in 2006. In 2012 Amy graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Alverno College. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional.

Amy enjoys backyard gardening using native Wisconsin flowers to support pollinators, SCUBA diving and traveling with her husband Matt. She is a UW Extension Master Gardener Volunteer and enjoys working on gardening projects with small children. Amy also represents Annex through our Financial Literacy Initiative focusing on basic financial literacy for college students.

Linda Bork

Office Administrator

Linda Bork is an Office Administrator at Annex Wealth Management’s Elm Grove Office.

As an Office Administrator, Linda answers calls from current and potential clients, coordinates meetings, maintains client files and handles many administrative duties.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Linda worked for 35 years in the banking industry.

Linda enjoys running, golfing, and baking.

Sarah Johnson

Client Service Manager

Sarah Johnson is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management’s Appleton Branch Office.

As a Client Service Manager, Sarah assists all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Sarah worked as the Branch Office Administrator for a successful retirement planning firm and owned a business, Professional Trust Funding.

Sarah has her life insurance license, Associate Customer Service (ACS) and Associate Life Health Claims (ALHC) certifications.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys serving in her church, going for long walks, and snowmobiling.

Denis Johnson

Branch Director, Appleton Office

Denis Johnson is Branch Director at Annex Wealth Management’s Appleton Branch Office.

As Branch Director, Denis is responsible for the growth and stability of the Appleton branch. He oversees relationships forged at the branch and ensures every client is experiencing the Annex Wealth Management difference there.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Denis enjoyed a successful career as the Owner/President of American Financial Strategies, a retirement planning firm.

Denis holds Securities licenses 6, 7, 63, 65, and is licensed in Life and Variable products.

Denis enjoys singing on the praise team at church, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

Jack Hauser, CFP®

Project & Data Analytics Manager

Jack is the Project & Data Analytics Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As the Project & Data Analytics Manager, Jack curates and interprets Annex Wealth Management business and client data in order to improve key workflows and spot opportunities to try innovative new methodologies and improve analytical procedures.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Jack worked in data analytics and marketing.

Jack graduated from University of Wisconsin with a degree in Personal Finance. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Jack is a lifelong Badger fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends in Door County.

Sandra Hanson

Jason obtained both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as a Certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University. Jason has passed the following FINRA exams: General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination (Series 65).

Jason enjoys fishing, skiing and cheering on his daughters’ sporting events and also serves as a law enforcement officer.

Susan Felton

Susan Felton is a Client Operations Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Operations Specialist, Susan assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients including new client onboarding, scheduling, and account paperwork.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Susan worked as a stay-at-home-mom and before that, performed administrative operations at SysLogic, Inc., and Cap Gemini.

A graduate of Carthage College, Rick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional, holds the Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisers Law (Series 65) exams as well as life, health and long-term care insurance licenses.

Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and engaging in countless sports and outdoor activities. He is a youth sports coach and remains active in his son’s Boy Scout Troop as an adult leader.

Patrick Noble, CLTC®

Before Annex Wealth Management, Patrick worked for over 15 years in the financial services and investment industry.

Patrick graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Behavioral Science.

Patrick and his wife are busy with their two sons, and he and his family are patrons of the arts in Milwaukee, particularly the Milwaukee Ballet.

Michael Murtos, CFP®

Before Annex Wealth Management, Mike spent 17 years at M&I Financial Advisors and 5 years at an independent advisory and financial planning firm.

Mike graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Business Administration in Finance. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) exams.

Mike enjoys golf, running and watching and volunteering for his kid’s hockey and soccer teams.

Matthew Morzy, CFP®

Director Of Research

Matthew Morzy is the Director Of Research at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Research, Matthew oversees the Investment Team and helps provide the oversight of the various mutual funds and ETFs that are used in client portfolios. Matthew works closely with our Chief Economist, Brian Jacobsen, to establish and implement the allocations within Annex’s Core and Tactical models. In addition to conducting manager research and managing portfolios, Matthew works alongside the trading team at Annex to properly execute trades on behalf of our clients. He also partners with our Retirement Plan Services team to monitor and manage the investment options in those plans.

A frequent guest on the Ask Annex radio segment, Matthew helps answer submitted questions, and is a contributor to the Annex Investment Team’s SWOT podcast.

Matthew graduated in 2005 from Carroll University with a degree in Business Administration in Finance. In 2014, he graduated from the Marquette University Graduate School of Management with his MBA and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP)®.

Matthew lives in Waukesha with his wife Abbie, their son Levi and daughter Kennedy.

Mike Mihm is a Senior Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from University of Wisconsin and is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), has passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and the Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) exams.

Before he worked at Annex Wealth Management, Mike was a director and private wealth advisor and a Vice President at a major private banking firm.

Mike is a UW Soccer alumnus and enjoys travel, running, and both playing and coaching soccer.

Brianna Kollmorgen

Marketing Project Manager

Brianna Kollmorgen is a Marketing Project Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Marketing Project Manager, Brianna specializes in planning, managing, and executing projects related to marketing campaigns and workflows. She is responsible for turning the strategist’s vision into a reality and understands how all pieces of marketing projects come together.

Brianna earned her BA from Concordia University – Wisconsin in International Business with a Marketing minor. Before she worked at Annex Wealth Management, Brianna helped manage her family’s equestrian center.

Brianna still enjoys riding there and competing with her horses. She also loves to travel with her husband and their dogs.

Amanda Ploetz

Lead Client Service Manager

Amanda Ploetz is a Lead Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As Lead Client Service Manager, Amanda manages and supervises processes and procedures for our Service Team. Erin Oldenburg

Sr. Team Analytics Specialist

Erin Oldenburg is a Sr. Team Analytics Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Sr. Team Analytics Specialist, Erin curates, sorts and analyzes data for use in team management, guidance, and trend development. She is also responsible for various research and implementation of new programs and procedures.

Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Erin worked on the Intermediary Client Services team at Artisan Partners Limited Partnership.

Erin graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College with a degree in Communicative Arts, focusing on Marketing and Spanish.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys experiencing the great outdoors and attending concerts.

Allie Anklam

Content Manager

Allie Anklam is a Content Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Content Manager, Allie creates and contributes to the vast array of marketing and promotional materials created every day at Annex.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Allie was a freelance artist.

Outside of work, Allie enjoys building her personal art portfolio and spending quality time with friends and family.

Tom Parks, AIF®, CRPS®

Director of Retirement Plan Services

Tom Parks is the Director of Retirement Plan Services at Annex Wealth Management.

He has specialized in qualified retirement plan administration, education and consulting since 2001. Tom is the primary contact for the plan fiduciaries. In this capacity, Tom presents quarterly investment reviews and annual plan reviews. Tom also participates in the production of custom videos and on-site group participant education.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Tom spent two years as a volunteer in Quito, Ecuador. His professional career started at the M&I Trust Company where he educated both English and Spanish-speaking plan participants on the importance of preparing for retirement.

Tom graduated from St. Norbert College with a degree in philosophy and economics, and holds both the AIF® CRPS® certifications.

Tom and his family are involved in a variety of philanthropic endeavors and Tom is actively engaged in civic affairs.

Deanne Phillips, CFP®, CDFA®, ABFP^sm

Director of Client Learning & Development

Deanne Phillips is Director of Client Learning & Development at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Client Learning, Deanne is responsible for developing and presenting workshop and webinar content to further the educational needs of our client base and ensure Annex’s prospective clients are engaged with us and Know The Difference. She runs our Women & Wealth group at Annex; an education-based network of women, open to anyone in the community, designed specifically to foster collaboration, community and growth in specific areas of financial planning.

Deanne also meets with prospective clients, working to secure the client relationship and then oversee those relationships for the long-term. As a Wealth Manager, she conducts initial portfolio reviews with clients to determine or validate current investment objectives, and prepares recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Investment and Financial Planning teams.

Deanne has over 26 years of financial services experience working directly with clients and 10 years prior in the education field. Prior to joining Annex, Deanne worked in holistic wealth management, most recently serving as Director of Investments for BMO Private Bank in Milwaukee, and as a Senior Private Wealth Portfolio Manager for U.S. Bank.

Deanne holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University and has been a practicing CFP® professional for over 20 years. She is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), and an Accredited Behavioral Financial Professional (ABFPsm), who assists our clients and prospective clients with financial transitions such as divorce. She is a member of the National Speaker’s Association (NSA) and part of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Alumni group as a former recipient. As an educator she has taught at such institutions as the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University. She’s been a guest speaker and lecturer at numerous local and national conferences FPA, NAIFA, FSFP, and national banks, and has published writings specific to Divorce specialty on theStreet.com.

Ken Symes

Director of Wealth Manager Development

Ken Symes is the Director of Wealth Manager Development at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Wealth Manager Development, Ken plays a key role in mentoring and supporting the firm’s Wealth Manager team. His leadership helps ensure a consistently high-quality client experience across the organization.

With over a decade of experience in client-facing wealth management roles, Ken brings deep expertise and insight to his work.

He holds both a bachelor’s degree and MBA, along with FINRA registrations as a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and a Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63).

Outside of work, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife, Cathy, and their two children, Ainslie and William.

Jackie Sklenar

Director of Client Engagement

Jackie Sklenar is Director of Client Engagement at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Client Engagement, Jackie is responsible for developing and strengthening client relationships in partnership with Wealth Managers to ensure that prospects and clients are engaged with us and Know The Difference. She will train and mentor Wealth Managers and maintain our strong growth and stability with clients as well as enhance the client experience through empowerment and education.

She holds the State of Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance Licenses and has passed the following exams: General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66), General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 8), General Securities Principals (Series 24), Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65), and the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor Exam.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Stacy worked at BMO Harris Bank, Robert Baird & Co., Kohl’s Corporation and U.S. Bank.

Stacy and her husband fill their life raising their three children, and spending time with friends and family.

Becky Fink

Trust and Estate Coordinator

As a Trust and Estate Coordinator, Becky assists with trust and estate settlements, account transitions to beneficiaries by working with custodians and clients to streamline processes, as well as general support of the Estate Planning Attorneys at Annex Wealth Management.

Becky was a Client Service Manager with Annex prior to taking on the role as a Trust and Estate Coordinator.

Becky graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Business Administration.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Becky was at The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, Illinois for over sixteen years. She spent the majority of that time as a Senior Account Manager in the Wealth Management Group working with high-net worth families and individuals.

Becky lives in Elm Grove with her husband, Eric, and their son Benjamin. She enjoys photography, travelling and spending time with friends and family. She is also actively pursuing becoming a yoga instructor.

Danny Clayton

Senior Media Producer

Danny Clayton is a Senior Media Producer at Annex Wealth Management.

Danny’s responsible for sharing the stories of Annex Wealth Management. Besides writing daily radio updates for the Milwaukee market, he also interviews members of the Annex team to showcase the depth and breadth of expertise in all areas of financial planning including retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and investment management. He anchors our radio shows that air throughout southeastern Wisconsin, the Fox Valley, and northern Illinois.

The bulk of his career was in broadcast as both an on-air talent and programming manager with a long run at the original WKTI. He also worked in various marketing roles at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Kapco Metal Stamping. He can be heard weekly as the host of Saturday morning programming on WTMJ.

Danny and his wife, Suzanne, live in Fox Point where he spoils two Golden Retrievers. Both their boys are grown and working, one in corporate travel, the other in law enforcement. His most recent passion is GORUCK, 12-hour physical challenges led by Special Ops soldiers. Even he doesn’t know why he does this.

He’s an active member of Eastbrook Church in Milwaukee.

Steve Dryer, MBA

Steve Dryer is the Managing Director of Operations at Annex Wealth Management.

As Managing Director of Operations, Steve is responsible for achieving maximum operational efficiency throughout the firm contributing to an exceptional client experience. Steve’s responsibilities include the review and assessment of current and future organizational structure, as well as ensuring operational systems support current and future firm growth.

Prior to joining Annex, Steve was President of Mutual Financial Group, the wealth management and insurance subsidiary of Bank Mutual. He also spent 25 years at Northwestern Mutual working in a variety of progressive roles, including product marketing, business development, and strategic consulting.

Steve graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Finance and received his Masters in Business Administration from Marquette University.

He enjoys coaching basketball, golf, reading, and spending time with his wife and children.

Eric is the Director of Financial Planning at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Financial Planning, Eric leads Annex’s financial planning team, which serves as a technical resource for wealth managers and clients in a variety of subject matter areas. Eric specializes in the areas of advanced tax planning, retirement planning, charitable and legacy planning, insurance planning, social security optimization, and more.

Eric is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and an IRS Enrolled Agent. He has an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a certificate in financial planning from Boston University.

Eric has served as treasurer and board member of MAM Fund – Maryland Avenue Montessori school, a Milwaukee public school. Eric is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. He enjoys music, running, hiking, and spending time with his wife, kids, and extended family.

Melissa Montguire

Melissa Montguire is a Supervisor of the Client Service Team at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Supervisor, Melissa manages and supervises processes and procedures for our Service Team. Melissa serves as one of the primary points of contact for Annex Wealth Management’s client service-related requests. This includes managing daily client service requests and inquiries; coordinating follow-through on account inquiry; financial planning and maintenance requests; preparing and scheduling client reviews; maintaining client records; and managing outgoing client communications.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Melissa worked for BMO Harris Financial Advisors and spent some time in retail banking prior to that, both with BMO Harris Bank and US Bank.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Mary University where she majored in Business and Communications and minored in English and Professional Writing.

Melissa enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and volunteering at her children’s school and church.

Heather Shutta

Heather Shutta is the Manager of Client Service at Annex Wealth Management.

As Manager of Client Service, Heather’s purpose is to elevate and execute the client service experience by providing expert guidance, coaching and development, proactive problem-solving, and foundational leadership within the Client Service team. This role focuses on optimizing team performance through effective training, oversight on process development, performance evaluations and targeted career progression plans, while maintaining high standards of compliance and operational efficiency.

Heather graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

Jill Martin is a Wealth Strategist and Estate Planning Attorney at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Wealth Strategist, Jill works collaboratively with clients, Wealth Managers, and external CPAs and attorneys to provide guidance to high-net-worth families, business owners, and corporate executives on defining and developing comprehensive wealth plans. Her focus areas include estate planning and wealth transfer, trust and estate administration, tax efficiency, and philanthropic goals. As an Estate Planning Attorney, Jill provides ongoing education to clients and evaluates existing estate plans for practical application to accomplish client goals in light of changes in estate and tax laws. In addition, Jill provides extensive support to families and beneficiaries of accounts going through trust and estate settlement when a client passes away and supports onboarding of new client relationships when trusts are involved.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Jill worked as Regional Director of Trust for BMO Harris Bank where she worked with high-net-worth clients on complex trust administration and estate planning matters. Jill started her career as an attorney in private practice advising clients on estate planning, tax, real estate and corporate law.

Jill earned a BBA in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her JD from the Nebraska College of Law. Jill also holds the ACCREDITED ESTATE PLANNER® designation.

Jill is actively involved in numerous organizations including the Children’s Wisconsin Planned Giving Council, Waukesha County Estate Planning Council, Midwinter Estate Planning Clinic, and TEMPO Waukesha.

Patricia graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in International Relations, Economics and Latin American Studies. She also earned her MS in International Business and Financial Services Marketing from UW-Madison. Patricia is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Patricia enjoys bicycling, golf, travelling and spending time at their family cottage in northern Wisconsin.

As a Wealth Strategist, Mark designs and coordinates the delivery of strategic financial advice for high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and privately held business owners. His areas of focus include tax, investment, executive compensation, and retirement planning. Mark’s planning knowledge and attention to detail allows him to navigate complex situations and communicate actionable plans for clients to follow.

Mark has 10+ years of experience in the financial industry. He earned his Bachelor of Science from UW-Milwaukee in 2012 where he was a member of the Panther Baseball team. Mark has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and is registered with the IRS as an Enrolled Agent. He holds the Series 65 Securities license and has completed the following industry designations: Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®), Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP®) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®). Naomi graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She holds a Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) license with Annex Wealth Management. Additionally, Naomi earned the Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP) accreditation. The CSCP designation is a graduate-level specialization for experienced financial services compliance professionals. Matthew has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry working with clients and attending to their financial goals. He has spent much of that time helping to educate investors on the financial markets and how to best plan for the future.

Matthew graduated in 1997 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in economics and started his career in commercial banking. From there he transitioned into owning a family business. It was during this time that Matthew also started working as a financial representative with a local financial services company. Matthew hold a series 66 securities license and is a Certified Financial Planner® along with being a Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Chartered Life Underwriter®.

Matthew is a lifelong Appleton native and lives with his wife Terese and their 3 pets.

He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time in his kitchen.

Brandon Lehman is the Director of Annex Private Client at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Annex Private Client, Brandon is responsible for the growth, advancement and management of Annex Private Client, the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Wealth Management Team at Annex. They focus on advanced tax, investment, distribution, estate, and philanthropy planning as well as other complex private wealth strategies.

Brandon has over 14 years of financial services experience working with clients and advisors alike. He has spent the majority of his career working with clients to help them reach their financial objectives with a focus on outcomes. Prior to Annex, Brandon worked as a Wealth Advisor for a national RIA, Investment Consultant for a global asset management firm and a financial consultant for a national insurance and investment firm.

Brandon graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2009 with a degree in history and political science. He passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and the Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66), is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation.

Brandon lives in Oconomowoc with his wife Jennifer and three children and serves as a Company Commander in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Bryan held management positions at Scottrade and TD Ameritrade. He worked in the areas of financial education, investment strategies, financial planning, and service with clients and staff.

Bryan earned the CRPC® and CSRIC™ designations as well as FINRA / Securities Industry Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses. He develops his expertise by consistently participating in learning on topics in our industry.

As a research analyst and trader, Michael works closely with the Investment Committee conducting bottom-up research of securities and analyzing economic data. Michael also works closely with our Wealth Managers and Client Service Managers to connect Annex’s investment strategy with our clients holistic financial plan.

Michael has over fifteen years of experience in the financial planning and mutual fund services industry. He started his career in financial planning as the Director of Investment Operations for a Wealth Management Advisor at Northwestern Mutual. Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Mike was a Relationship Manager at U.S. Bank Global Fund Services.

Michael graduated in 2002 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Finance and has been a CFA® charterholder since 2016.

Michael enjoys travelling the world with his wife Kristin, hitting the gym and is an avid fan of NBA basketball.

Mark Pent

Mark Pent is Branch Director at Annex Wealth Management’s Madison Branch Office.

Mark has held a variety of roles in Wealth Management since 2002. He has served as a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager and Complex Director. Prior to joining Annex, Mark worked for UBS Financial Services for over 15 years, most recently as Branch Director in Madison.

Mark holds a BA from the University of Illinois Chicago. He has FINRA licenses, 3, 7, 9, 10, 31 and 66.

Keith was a practicing attorney for over 25 years, focusing on estate planning, probate, general business, business succession planning, and transactional work. After leaving private practice, Keith worked in the private wealth management area of a large bank for over eight years, serving as a Trust Officer and Wealth Trust Advisor.

Keith holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (graduation with distinction) and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds a Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) license with Annex Wealth Management.

Emma Sapiro is the Supervisor – Marketing Team at Annex Wealth Management.

As Supervisor, Emma helps with strategic vision and is responsible for oversight of the flow of projects through the Annex Marketing Team.

Before joining Annex, Emma served as External Relations and Promotions Coordinator for the Athletic Department at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI, and as Guest Service Specialist for JUUT Salon Spa in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to those positions, she was a Marketing and Promotions intern with the Eau Claire Express baseball team in Eau Claire, WI.

Emma received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Tourism in 2016 from UW-Stout.

In her time outside of Annex, Emma coaches high school volleyball and track & field. She enjoys staying active, finding a good show to watch on Netflix, trying out new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Brian Bartholomew

Manager of Client Operations

Brian Bartholomew is the Manager of Client Operations at Annex Wealth Management.

As Manager, Brian oversees new client onboarding, cashiering tasks, and overall account maintenance. In this role, Brian and the Client Operations Department are responsible for managing operational workflows, compliance adherence, and technology integration to support client needs across each of the Annex service offerings. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with Annex Wealth Managers, Client Service Managers, and other stakeholders to optimize the Annex client experience and maintain operational excellence.

Brian has over 10 years of experience in the industry working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. He has an extensive background in financial planning, financial operations, and client service.

Brian graduated in 2006 from the University of Wisconsin.

In his free time Brian enjoys exercising, golf and all things Wisconsin Badgers. He lives in Middleton, WI with his wife Michelle.

Justin Lachowin

IT Support Manager

Justin Lachowin is an IT Support Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As an IT Support Manager, Justin oversees and supports technology operations at Annex Wealth Management as well as provides technology solutions that contribute to the firm’s goals and results.

Justin has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry working in various industries including financial, legal firms, recruitment firms and software companies. He has spent much of that time helping to educate customers on products and services, as well as providing internal IT support to employees, focusing on customer service.

Justin graduated in 2002 from Waukesha County Technical College with a degree in Information Technology. Justin holds various technical certifications including A+, Network+, i-Net+ and MCP.

Justin lives in Pewaukee with his wife Rebecca, enjoying time outside whenever possible.

Troy Defenbaugh

Troy Defenbaugh is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Troy assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Troy has over 18 years of customer service experience in the financial industry. Before joining Annex Wealth Management, he worked for US Bank Global Fund Services as a mutual fund specialist assisting clients with their investment accounts, as well as a senior mentor and trainer for his peers.

Troy graduated from UW Eau Claire with a degree in History, and in 2003 he completed his Certificate in Teaching from Carroll University.

Troy enjoys traveling with his wife and son, volunteers with Cub Scouts, and is an avid gamer and science fiction enthusiast.

Tom Berkholtz is a Financial Planning Specialist on Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning Team.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, Tom works with the Financial Planning Team, employing leading-edge technology to help create a financial plan tailored to a client’s risk tolerance, needs, and expectations.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Tom worked for 5 years in the financial services industry. During college he worked at BMO Harris bank as a Customer Service Representative and interned for a financial services company in the Madison area. He then worked for an independent financial services company in an Operations/Paraplanner role.

Tom graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Personal Finance and certificate in Entrepreneurship. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and has passed the following FINRA qualification examinations: General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66). Tom also holds life & health insurance licenses.

Tom is an avid Packer fan and enjoys running, reading, and spending time with family.

Simon Rech

As Compliance Specialist, Simon’s responsibilities include the continuing development of all aspects of compliance, including regulatory oversight of all Annex Wealth Management® advisors, supervision of accounts and transactions, and compliance with US Securities & Exchange Commission and related securities rules and regulations.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Simon worked for 5 years in the live events industry where he planned and executed concerts and tours around the country.

Simon graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in History and is currently pursuing his MBA through UMass-Amherst.

Jeff spent over 27 years as an Options Trader in Chicago before transitioning to a career in Wealth Management.

As Project & Data Analytics Specialist, Dave curates and interprets Annex Wealth Management business and client data in order to improve key workflows and spot opportunities to try innovative new methodologies and improve analytical procedures.

David has over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, David was a Regulatory Review Manager with U. S. Bancorp Fund Services and prior to U. S. Bancorp Fund Services, he was a Trust Officer and Fee Team Manager at BMO Harris/M&I Wealth Management.

David received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and his MBA in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University. He holds a Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) license with Annex Wealth Management.

David lives in Bay View with his wife, Linda and their two dogs.

Blaine Disrud, CFA®

Blaine Disrud, CFA® is a Research Analyst at Annex Wealth Management.

As a research analyst, Blaine works closely with the Investment Committee. Focusing predominantly on fixed income and equity research, Blaine conducts bottom-up research of securities and analyzes economic data. Blaine is in charge of managing individual fixed income portfolios within some of Annex’s more specialized portfolios.

Blaine has over a decade of experience within the investment industry. Prior to joining Annex, Blaine was a member of the Voit & Company, LLC team that joined Annex in 2020.

Blaine holds the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He earned a Master of Financial Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Economics with a minor in Management from the University of Minnesota. He currently holds his Series 65 license.

Blaine lives in Waukesha with his wife Alex and daughter, where he enjoys getting outdoors, hunting, playing hockey, and golfing.

Maddison Warde

Before coming to Annex, Maddison worked as a Recruiter at an event marketing firm, and in other customer service roles.

Maddison graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in Marketing and Sales. She went into graduate school at UWO for Educational Leadership where she spent two years co-advising a student board of campus event planners.

Diane Tillman

Diane Tillman is the Administrative Assistant at Annex Wealth Management.

As Administrative Assistant, Diane serves as a primary point of contact for all items pertaining to the CEO and Director of Wealth Management. She also serves as the primary back up to the front desk and assists with events.

Diane has extensive experience providing administrative, clerical, and operational support in the financial industry and other various industries.

Diane graduated in 2011 from Cardinal Stritch University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Cum Laude, with a Certificate of Completion in Human Resource Management.

Diane lives in the West Bend area with her husband Jerome. In her spare time, she serves as Youth and Choir Director at Progressive Baptist Church in Milwaukee. She also loves to work in her flower garden and spend time with their three grandchildren.

Todd Voit, PhD

Chief Investment Strategist

Todd Voit, Ph.D. has developed and managed client portfolios for over 30 years, and is responsible for equity research, trading, and stock selection methodology at Annex.

Todd is an Emeritus Professor of Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Investments, Advanced Investments, and International Finance courses for over 20 years.

Todd has a Ph.D. in Economics with concentrations in Financial and International Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He also earned a Master of Economics with a concentration in Quantitative Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with an emphasis in International Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

For the past several years, Todd has been a judge for the CFA Institute “CFA Institute Research Challenge.” This is a semi-final competition among university investment programs to advance to the final competition held each year in New York.

Michelle Dobrenski

Joseph has spent 35 years establishing his career as a Certified Public Accountant. His knowledge in accounting and tax offer clients the confidence and trust needed to understand the ever-changing world of business.

Joseph graduated from Marquette University in 1985 with a degree in Accounting and received his CPA license in 1986. His is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, and Wisconsin Institute of Certified Accountants. He has served on many boards over the years from the Homebuilders Association of Lake County to various client boards.

Ryan has had roles that ranged from responsibilities as account manager to various lending roles. Amy Kiiskila, JD, CFP®, CPA, CLU®

Amy Kiiskila is the Director of Wealth Strategy at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Wealth Strategy, Amy is responsible for the delivery of advanced planning strategies and services for Annex Private Client. She works collaboratively with clients, Wealth Managers, and external CPAs and attorneys to provide guidance to affluent families, business owners, and corporate executives to create holistic plans centered around goals of personal wealth management, legacy, and philanthropy. Her focus areas include estate planning and wealth transfer, business transition matters, tax efficiency, and philanthropic goals.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Amy was a Partner in the Wealth Planning group at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where she worked with individuals and business owners to achieve their estate planning, business planning, and financial planning goals. Amy also previously worked at Northwestern Mutual, as Vice President of Advanced Planning. She began her career at Arthur Andersen as an auditor.

Amy attained her BBA in accounting from St. Norbert College and her JD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Amy is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional and CPA and holds her CLU® designation.

Amy is active in various industry and community organizations, including the Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum, the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County, and the Catholic Community Foundation. Before joining Annex, Jessica spent her last two years as a Sales Advisor for a local business. She also previously served as a Title Clerk and a Membership Coordinator at the local YMCA.

As Manager, Trevor oversees the Annex Trading Team and Investment Operations Specialists, driving the optimization of processes, systems, and technology to improve operational efficiencies and ensure regulatory compliance. He collaborates with trading and research teams to streamline operations and support the firm’s comprehensive approach to investment management. Additionally, Trevor provides data-driven insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our role as a fiduciary and contributing to an exceptional client experience.

Trevor’s extensive background in the financial industry – including wealth management, financial reporting, and financial technology – informs his ability to keep clients first and help them reach their goals.

Trevor graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University – Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. While attending Concordia, Trevor served as President of the school’s Investment Club and was a member of the university’s Portfolio Management team.

Amy graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in English and previously worked with a small publishing press as an Editorial Assistant while simultaneously working in the corporate communications industry before joining the Annex Team.

Kristen has over five years of experience working in the events industry, producing large scale conventions across various special markets. Most recently she supported the world’s largest fashion trade show, cultivating a comprehensive marketplace to connect leading industry brands and influential retailers.

Kristen graduated from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 2014 earning a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. She recently completed a two-year certification program through the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), earning the designation of CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management).

Robert has over 24 years of IT experience as it relates to working with end users, training, networks, vendors, and executive support all throughout the Milwaukee Metro area. In 2009 Robert graduated from University of Phoenix with an MBA, and for the last 9 years Robert has been in the Management sector broadening his overall skillset.

Robert lives in Greenfield with his youngest daughter (13), and his two oldest daughters (24, 21) live out of state. In his free time Robert likes to spend his time going to the gym, dancing, writing, watching movies, music related stuff, and being a Dad!!

Dave Panitzke

Client Service Manager

David Panitzke is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, David assists all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Before working at Annex, Dave worked in the Banking Industry as both a banker and branch manager. He also served in various ministry positions in churches across the country. Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on linguistics, and is a seminary graduate with a Master of Divinity degree.

Dave and his wife enjoy stand-up comedy and traveling and attending the many sporting events of his three children. He also enjoys attempting to repair cars and small engines, with an emphasis on the word “attempting”.

Nicholas Miller

Associate Wealth Manager

Nicholas Miller is an Associate Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

Nicholas has over seven years of experience in the financial industry working with clients and attending to their financial goals. He has spent the majority of that time helping educate investors on the financial markets and plan for the future. His previous roles include Financial Consulting and Private Banking.

Nicholas graduated in 2015 from the University Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Minor in Finance.

Nicholas is an avid sports fan who enjoys golfing whenever he can and enjoys traveling with his Family and Friends. Nicholas was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin.

Martha Kuhn

401(k) Relationship Manager

Martha Kuhn is the 401(k) Relationship Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As 401(k) Relationship Manager, Martha manages client relations; day to day questions, follow up, providing education and participant consultation.

Before joining Annex, Martha worked in the retirement plan industry for over 20 years. She enjoys offering her assistance and values building relationships.

Martha graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

Martha loves spending time with her kids, as well as her family and friends. She stays active with outdoor activities that include hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing.

John Thompson

Manager of Compliance

John Thompson is the Manager of Compliance at Annex Wealth Management.

As Manager of Compliance, John’s responsibilities include overseeing the compliance team, the continuing implementation of compliance items, including assisting with regulatory oversight of all Annex Wealth Management® advisors, supervision of accounts and transactions, and compliance with US Securities & Exchange Commission and related securities rules and regulations.

In his current role, John serves as a vital liaison between various departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration on compliance matters. He is committed to staying attuned to industry regulations and continuously improving compliance processes to safeguard Annex’s reputation and operational success.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, John held various roles with ALPS Fund Services based out of Denver, Colorado.

John graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Economics. He holds a Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) license with Annex Wealth Management.

John lives in Wauwatosa with his wife and their sons. He enjoys spending time outdoors and being with family and friends.

Jack DeRoche

Supervisor of Trading Team

Jack DeRoche is the Supervisor of the Trading Team at Annex Wealth Management.

As Supervisor, Jack oversees the day-to-day activities of the traders at Annex Wealth Management and leads efforts to enhance the trading efficiencies of the firm. He also assists the research analysts through data compilation and analysis to help provide portfolio insights.

Jack’s experience in the financial industry, working as a financial representative and as a trader, lends him to be a talented problem-solver who understands prioritizing clients’ needs.

Jack graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. During his time at UW-Madison, Jack was a member of the Portfolio Management Club as well as the Wealth Management Group.

Jack is an avid golfer and Wisconsin sports fan.

Erin Sanderson

Erin Sanderson is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Erin assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Erin has almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry working with clients to achieve their financial goals. Most of her experience relates to the management and servicing of employer-sponsored retirement plans, with her most recent 5 years specializing in onboarding of new clients.

Erin graduated in December 2009 from Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Business Administration. She has been recognized as a company leader in Client Service.

Erin lives in West Allis with her husband Derek, and their 3 very active daughters Alyssa, Molly, and Nora.

Sarah Kyle

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Marquette University. Before she worked at Annex Wealth Management, Sarah was a Private Wealth Advisor at BMO Harris Private Wealth Management. The majority of her career was spent at Robert Baird where she was a Director of Institutional Equity Sales and Trading. She holds her FINRA registrations of General Securities Representative (Series-7) and Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66).

Sarah loves spending time with her family, enjoys healthy living, and all sports especially playing golf and competitive tennis.

Bjorn Sanders, CFP®

Bjorn has been in the financial services industry for approximately 20 years. Prior to Joining the Annex Wealth Management team, Bjorn has worked for AIM Investments, USAA, TIAA-CREF, and J.P. Morgan Chase. Bjorn Sanders is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has spent a majority of his career helping clients achieve their financial goals though holistic, comprehensive financial planning.

Bjorn obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business: eBusiness from the University of Phoenix. In addition, Bjorn has passed the following FINRA exams: Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Representative Exam (Series 6), General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination (Series 65).

Bjorn enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy, and their two daughters, boating, fishing, and vacationing in Northern Wisconsin. Bjorn is active in his church, and most recently has volunteered with the YMCA to coach youth soccer.

Nik has over 15 years of experience working with clients in the financial services industry and has worked as a Wealth Management Advisor for a national financial advisor. He’s passionate about getting to know clients and helping them reach their financial goals.

He’s earned his BA degree from Ripon College in Ripon, WI with a major in International Business. Nik also holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago-Quinlan School of Business. Nik has passed the following FINRA qualification examinations: Series 6, 7, 66, and 50, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional.

Nik is a proud father of two and enjoys traveling and the great outdoors with his wife and kids. His hobbies include weightlifting, everything soccer, and skiing.

Robert Chastain

Robert Chastain is Branch Director at Annex Wealth Management’s Naples Branch Office.

As Branch Director, Robert is responsible for the growth and stability of the Naples branch. He oversees relationships forged at the branch and ensures every client is experiencing the Annex Wealth Management difference there.

Robert has a vast background starting in the automotive supplier markets before he transitioned into the financial markets. He started with a small boutique investment fund, then worked for Think or Swim which was sold to TD Ameritrade. Robert has since held various roles at Merrill Lynch, Suncoast Trust & Investments before coming to Annex Wealth Management.

Robert and his wife keep busy with their four children, three grandchildren, and keep active with cycling, gym visits, and living in the home of Pickleball.

Jeff Daye, CFP®, CRPS™, RPA

Jeff Daye is Branch Director at Annex Wealth Management’s Appleton Office.

As Branch Director, Jeff is responsible for the growth and stability of the Appleton branch. He oversees relationships forged at the branch and ensures every client is experiencing the Annex Wealth Management difference there.

Prior to Annex, Jeff worked as a Senior Wealth Advisor for a national RIA, Associate Regional Director and Relationship Manager serving clients in multiple states for a global asset management firm.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, with a degree in Marketing, Jeff passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7). He also passed the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63), Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65), is Wisconsin Life Insurance Licensed, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) is a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist™ (CRPS®) and holds the Retirement Plan Associate (RPA) Designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

Carl has over 26 years working in the financial services industry. Most recently, Carl was a Client Services Manager at US Bank Global Fund Services where he managed a team that oversaw the ongoing servicing needs of hedge fund and private equity managers.

Carl graduated from UW Milwaukee in 1996 with a degree in finance, and an MBA with an accounting emphasis from UW Milwaukee in 2002.

Carl enjoys spending his time golfing, fishing, and bowling. He also enjoys giving back to his community of Menomonee Falls as a member of the Falls Optimist Club.

Terry has 20+ years of customer service experience in the financial sector, specializing in Insurance, Mortgage Insurance and Banking.

Terry graduated from Alverno College in 1999 where she studied Business Management and Professional Communication. While at Alverno, she worked as a writing assistant and served as the treasurer for her chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon – the only national co-ed professional sales and marketing fraternity.

Terry likes to knit while soaking up the sun on her deck or doing DIY projects around her condo while listening to an audiobook or podcast.

Deb’s hobbies include golfing, reading, and volunteering with the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. She resides in Oshkosh with her husband, Wayne, and their dog, Raven.

Tirzah Cook

Tirzah Cook is the Administrative Assistant at Annex Wealth Management.

As Administrative Assistant, Tirzah supports members of the Executive Team on scheduling, integral projects, and events. She also serves as the primary back up to the reception desk.

Tirzah received her undergraduate degree in Business Communications at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, where she pursued journalism and marketing.

She has come to Annex with experience at BMO Harris Bank and the Waukesha County Courthouse.

Adam Ruhland

Prior to Annex, Adam worked as a Private Client Advisor for JPMorgan Wealth Management, Senior Investment Consultant for TD Ameritrade, and an Investment Consultant for Scottrade, Inc. He has spent his career helping clients achieve what is most important to them through holistic financial planning.

Adam graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2015 with a degree in Finance. He has passed the following industry related exams: General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66), and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63).

Adam enjoys golfing and being active outdoors. He likes exploring different states by visiting National Parks which also inspired his dog’s name Zion. Adam is an avid sports fan.

Erin Chop

Lead Client Service Manager

Erin Chop is a Lead Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As Lead Client Service Manager, Erin manages and supervises processes and procedures for our Service Team. Erin serves as one of the primary points of contact for Annex Wealth Management’s client service-related requests. This includes managing daily client service requests and inquiries; coordinating follow-through on account inquiry; financial planning and maintenance requests; preparing and scheduling client reviews; maintaining client records; and managing outgoing client communications.

Before working at Annex, Erin worked for over a decade in the Banking Industry, primarily in Retail Banking as both a manager and a banker.

Erin graduated from Waukesha County Technical College with a degree in Business Management and holds a Wisconsin Life License.

In her free time Erin enjoys watching her son play baseball, football, and basketball. She is a Board Member for her son’s youth football league, and loves spending time with her family, including her lab, Max, and golden retriever, Charlie.

Melanie Funk

Melanie Funk is a Lead Client Operations Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As Lead Client Operations Specialist, Melanie helps oversee a number of processes and procedures for the Operations team. Melanie also assists with service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients including new client onboarding, asset movement, and account paperwork.

Prior to Annex Wealth Management, Melanie worked for BMO Asset Management, formally known as Marshall & Illsley Wealth Management. She worked in the Investment Coordination department for 7 years as well as the SMAC (Security, Movement and Control) department for several years.

Melanie lives in Bay View with her 8-year-old daughter, Lydia. They love to get outside and walk by the lake when the weather cooperates. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends.

Jacob Vander Galien

Jacob Vander Galien is an Associate Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

Prior to working at Annex, Jacob built up his customer service experience and held an internship at another financial services firm. Before transitioning to Associate Wealth Manager, Jacob served Annex as a Client Service Manager for three years.

Jacob attended the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha for the first two years of his college years where he obtained an associates degree. He then went on to finish school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Personal Finance.

Brittany Seemuth

Brittany graduated from Mount Mary University with a bachelor’s degree in Writing for New Media and a minor in Public Relations. Before becoming a Client Service Manager, Brittany worked in estate planning as the department coordinator and Notary Public for an Ozaukee County law firm. Previously, she was a reporter covering the northwest suburban area for The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys growing orchids and carnivorous plants in her family’s greenhouse in Mequon. An avid traveler, she has also studied abroad in Costa Rica, and intends to continue returning to the tropical paradise, time and time again.

Avery Corey-Dickinson

Jason Cooper, CFA®

Director Of Equity Research

Jason Cooper, CFA® is Director Of Equity Research at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director Of Equity Research , Jason oversees research efforts for Annex’s individual equity strategies. He also contributes to portfolio construction and risk monitoring across these strategies. Jason serves as a mentor to team members that are developing their abilities in evaluating individual equity securities, following our process of Fundamentals, Valuation, and Trading.

Jason has been working with investment research for over a decade. Before joining Annex, Jason was a Portfolio Analyst. He also used to live in New York working as an Equity Analyst.

Jason graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science having completed the pre-med track. Jason gravitated towards financial analysis, as opposed to scientific analysis, due to the multi-faceted and rapidly changing dynamics of the industry. Jason is a CFA® charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society of Milwaukee.

Jason spends his free time with his family and enjoys being outdoors.

Tania Sinha, CFP®, CPA

Manager of Tax Planning

Tania Sinha is the Manager of Tax Planning at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Manager of Tax Planning, Tania analyzes tax situations and implications of investment activities on the client’s tax situation, prepares pro-forma tax returns, meets with clients to answer any tax questions and give them tax advice. In addition, Tania stays updated on current tax laws, educates advisors and clients on the implications of the law changes.

Tania is a CPA and has two Master’s degrees – one in Finance and another in Accounting.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Tania worked in the tax and financial industries for over four years.

Tania enjoys yoga, reading, walking, and spending time with friends and family.

Fred Coleman, CFP®

Branch Director, Mequon & Pfister Offices

Fred Coleman is Branch Director at Annex Wealth Management’s Mequon and Pfister Offices.

As Branch Director, Fred is responsible for the growth and stability of the Mequon and Pfister Offices. He oversees relationships forged at the branches and ensures every client is experiencing the Annex Wealth Management difference there.

Fred has spent over 9 years helping clients achieve their financial goals through investment management and financial planning. Prior to Annex Fred worked 7 years as a Financial Advisor and a Trader. He also worked 2 years assisting clients with Mutual Funds.

Arabella Parins is a Financial Planning Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, she works with the Financial Planning Team, employing leading-edge technology to help create a financial plan tailored to a client’s risk tolerance, needs, and expectations.

Arabella has obtained a degree in Finance, Investment, and Banking through the University of Wisconsin – Madison. As a Wealth Strategist, Liam designs and coordinates the delivery of strategic financial advice for high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and privately held business owners. In addition to financial planning, Liam’s areas of focus include investment, tax, retirement planning, and executive compensation.

Liam has passed the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65) and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in finance and marketing from Wisconsin Lutheran College. During his time at Annex, Liam has supported Wealth Managers with the varying complexities of client needs, while collaborating with the investment, financial planning, and tax teams.

Before working at Annex Wealth Management, Liam worked with a law firm that specializes in estate planning, guardianships, and elder law.

Liam was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida, moving to Wisconsin for college and residing in Milwaukee ever since. In his free time, Liam enjoys spending time with his wife, Alex, as well as many outdoor activities including soccer and water sports.

Cathy Roenspies is the Executive Assistant – Chief Growth Officer at Annex Wealth Management.

As Executive Assistant, Cathy supports the Chief Growth Officer and effectively partners with teams internally and externally to advance the goals and workflow of the office of the CGO.

Cathy has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry including banking, brokerage, financial technology, and wealth management. Cathy’s past roles have focused on delivering exceptional client service through building relationships, experiential marketing, and c-level management. Prior to Annex, Cathy worked as a Wealth Advisor Associate for a regional RIA, a Vice President of Marketing for a global FinTech provider, and various business liaison positions to the C-suite.

Cathy lives in Greendale and loves the many seasons of Wisconsin. In her personal time, she can be found enjoying the family cottage in northern Wisconsin, watching her nephews in collegiate sports, biking, walking, and anything that has to do with family and being outdoors.

Maighread Peterson

Jim Blahnik is Annex Wealth Management’s Director of IT.

As Director of IT, Jim is responsible for the management and oversight of all information technology systems for the firm. This includes planning, organizing, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations and staff.

Jim has over 26 years of experience in IT. Previously, Jim was Technology Manager and Information Security Officer as well as Manager of IT Systems for other financial advising firms.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Management Systems from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Jim lives in Bay View with his wife and daughter. In his free time, Jim can be found restoring either his 150-year old house or an old car, or just enjoying one of his neighborhood’s many events.

Juliana Da Costa

Juliana was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States when she was 16 years old. Juliana has lived in New York City and Hawaii before settling in Wisconsin. As a research analyst, Ken Bellinger works closely with the Investment Committee conducting bottom-up research of equity securities and analyzing economic data. Ken closely monitors portfolio holdings and leads research and analysis on adding new positions into the portfolio.

Lizz has spent much of her career working with clients to help them reach their financial objectives with a focus on outcomes and building relationships. Prior to Annex, Lizz worked as a Director of Private Client Services, and as an insurance representative for a locally owned firm.

Lizz graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, with a degree in Chemistry and Communication. She obtained her Master of Business Administration in Financial Planning from Schiller International University. She currently holds her RFC® designation and is a graduate of the Kaplan University of Financial Planning.

Lizz lives in Green Bay with her husband, Jon, and their boxer babies. In her spare time, she likes to travel and teach Yoga and Pilates. She met her husband 20 years ago in Pilates, he was her student!

Prior to Annex, Nick worked as a Business Development Associate along with supporting brokerage services for life and disability insurance at Guardian Life Insurance Company. After his time at Guardian, Nick worked as a Registered Representative at another advisory firm. He has obtained his Life & Health License as well as Long Term Care certification. Nick has also passed the Securities Industry Essentials exam.

Nick graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll University in Psychology and minored in Religious Studies. During his time at Carroll, Nick played soccer and tennis going on to coach tennis at the Division I level in the Big East and Big 10 conferences.

As Associate Director of Growth, Michael works with both leadership and various teams at Annex to guide the firm in its growth initiatives.

Michael graduated from Marquette University with a degree in economics and immediately began his pursuit of guiding individuals and families with a focus on financial planning. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional, and helping people achieve their goals while navigating complexities has always been his passion.

Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Michael was principal of an advisory firm. He has also worked with a number of technology firms within the fintech space.

When not in the office, Michael enjoys creating experiences and memories with friends and family while being outside. The perfect summer day for Michael would be an early morning round of golf, time on the lake, and a bonfire at sunset. In winter you’ll find him enjoying a great hike with the dogs or avoiding injury while skiing. At any time of the year, Michael enjoys any conversation surrounding aviation.

Josh Hoisington is the Executive Liaison at Annex Wealth Management.

As the Executive Liaison, Josh is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and other senior leaders.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Josh worked in the state legislature as a Research Assistant and Chief of Staff for 12 years. He was the Clerk of one of the legislative committees, the Assembly Committee on Health, for 8 years.

Laura Kelley

Laura Kelley is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

Brian Jacobsen is Chief Economist of Annex Wealth Management.

As Chief Economist, Brian provides insight and leadership to Annex’s clients and its Investment Committee, which guides client portfolio construction and investment philosophy. An accomplished writer and speaker, Brian’s perspective and expertise have been featured nationally on networks like CNBC and Bloomberg. He has also appeared on Annex’s “Money Talk” weekly radio program in the past.

Brian scored an academic hat-trick by attending the big three universities in Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a law degree from Marquette University Law School. Brian has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®), and the Certified Business Economist (CBE®) designations. Before working at Annex Wealth Management, Brian worked as a Senior Investment Strategist and as a Chief Portfolio Strategist. He was also an associate professor at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

In his spare time, Brian is an Instructor of Practice at Marquette University and enjoys staying active with just about any outdoor activity, lifting weights, and watching his son play soccer and viola. Janessa started in the financial industry over 15 years ago. She has national financial experience that includes financial planning, asset allocations, tax planning, legacy planning, training financial advisors, trading, facilitating effective communication between clients, financial advisors, broker dealers, clearing firms, custodians, market makers and the IRS. She believes that the clients are the firm’s greatest asset. It is not how much money you make; moreover, it is how much money you keep.

Janessa graduated from University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. She was first general securities licensed in 2007 and has continued to earn additional licensures. Janessa received her Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation.

Janessa lives in Denmark with her husband and four children. They enjoy travel, outdoor activities, and family time.

Jamie McKnight, CWS

Jamie McKnight is the Director of Wealth Services at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Wealth Services, Jamie is responsible for the growth and advancement of Annex’s branch offices. He oversees and leads multiple teams in the Annex system ensuring that each relationship receives the Annex “Know The Difference” Client Experience.

Jamie has over 24 years of financial services experience, working with clients and advisors. During his career, he has worked with large Wall Street firms, Large Insurance Co., and Regional Firms to help achieve their clients’ financial objectives.

Prior to joining Annex, Jamie worked as a Branch Leader at a national financial firm, focusing on all Wisconsin markets.

Jamie graduated from Saint Mary’s (College) University in Winona, MN. He also holds his Series 7, 65, 9 and 10. In addition he earned his Certified Wealth Strategist accreditation. In his free time Jamie enjoys playing golf, traveling, seeking out new craft breweries, and, most importantly, spending time with his four sons and his dog Summer.

Alex Suarez

Alex Suarez is a Project & Data Analytics Associate at Annex Wealth Management.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Alex worked as an intern in the Investment Services department at a credit union. He holds an undergraduate degree in Personal Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Alex is currently furthering his education by pursuing an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with a certificate in Business Analytics. He is also currently serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserves.

Kaylee Urbanek is Financial Planning Operations Support at Annex Wealth Management.

In this role, Kaylee provides operational support to the financial planning team, focusing on managing systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the maintenance of financial plans.

Prior to working at Annex Wealth Management, Kaylee was working as a finance and tax intern at a local investment management firm. Kaylee has also prepared client taxes, organized client data, and assisted in client meetings.

Kaylee graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Personal Finance and a certificate in Entrepreneurship.

In Kaylee’s free time, she enjoys working out, spending time outside, and traveling.

Kevin Trecek

Associate Wealth Manager

Kevin Trecek is an Associate Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As an Associate Wealth Manager, Kevin assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management.

Kevin is experienced in helping clients build knowledge and understanding of their financial lives to aid in achieving their goals. Prior to Annex, Kevin worked as a financial advisor for a national financial services organization, and a Business Development Associate at a national investment and insurance firm.

Kevin graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in finance. He passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and the General Securities Representative (Series 7), and the Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66).

Kevin lives in Oconomowoc with his girlfriend and their dog. He enjoys the outdoors, especially days at the lake.

Rebecca Posig, CFP®

Rebecca Posig is a Financial Planning Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, Rebecca works with the Financial Planning Team, employing leading-edge technology to help create a financial plan tailored to a client’s risk tolerance, needs, and expectations.

Alec Durand, JD

Estate Planning Attorney

Alec Durand is an Estate Planning Attorney at Annex Wealth Management.

As an Estate Planning Attorney, Alec provides ongoing education to clients and evaluates existing estate plans for practical application to accomplish client goals in light of changes in estate and tax laws. In addition, Alec provides extensive support to families and beneficiaries of accounts going through trust and estate settlement when a client passes away and supports onboarding of new client relationships when trusts are involved.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Alec worked for the law firm of Cramer Multhauf, LLP, formally known as Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes, LLP. His practice involved advising clients on estate planning, real estate, and corporate law.

Alec earned a B.S. in Business from St. Cloud State University and his J.D. from Marquette University. He is licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Western District of Wisconsin.

Alec enjoys golfing, water skiing, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.

Kristin Reilly, MBA, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Kristin Reilly is Chief Financial Officer at Annex Wealth Management.

As Chief Financial Officer, Kristin oversees and forecasts the company’s growth. Kristin is focused on efficiency, timely and accurate financial reporting and assisting with the strategic growth plans at Annex.

Kristin has held senior financial and operational roles for both public and private companies including CFO for JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, Weir Minerals North America, and President of Prairie Financial Group. During her years at General Electric, she held roles including Acting Chief Financial Officer for GE’s Molecular Imaging and FP&A Manager of GE’s Commercial Finance Healthcare Financial Services. Before GE, Kristin was Vice President of Business Engineering and Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Treasurer for Grede Foundries, Inc, which was the 3rd largest global casting supplier with facilities in the US, UK, and Mexico. Kristin has extensive experience in long-range planning, financial planning and analysis, profit-and-loss leadership, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received a Master of Business Administration with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management where she also taught graduate level managerial accounting. Kristin is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kristin enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Paul and their two daughters.

Elliot Jones

Supervisor of Office Administration

Elliot Jones is the Supervisor of Office Administration at Annex Wealth Management.

As an Office Administrator, Elliot answers calls from current and potential clients, coordinates meetings, maintains client files, and handles many administrative duties.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Elliot worked for six years with the Milwaukee Public School District as an Elementary Teacher. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Elliot lives in Waukesha with his wife and has two long-haired dachshunds. During his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, going to dog parks, exploring the Greater Milwaukee Area, cheering on the Bucks, Brewers and Packers.

Tarun Poonacha

Client Service Manager

Tarun Poonacha is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Tarun assists all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Before working at Annex, Tarun worked in Portfolio Administration and Sales Support in the wealth management and fintech industry.

Kira Collins

Content Developer

Kira Collins is a Content Developer at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Content Developer, Kira is responsible for originating, creating, and curating content for each of the platforms used by the marketing team.

Prior to working at Annex, Kira worked in education for over 16 years teaching students with special needs across K4-12th grade and post-secondary education. During her years in education, she also held administrative positions including director of special education in Milwaukee. Following her time in education, Kira concentrated on curriculum development in real estate and oversaw a college internship program within a financial planning institution in the Milwaukee area.

Kira received her Bachelor of Science with a double major in special education from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She continued to earn her Master of Science in Psychology from Capella University and her Doctorate in Education from National Louis University, focusing on educational leadership.

When not at work, Kira enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and Great Dane, traveling, and judging scholastic and All-Star dance team competitions.

Jeffrey Mahoney

Marketing Automation Specialist

Jeffrey Mahoney is a Marketing Automation Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, Jeffrey is responsible for administrating Annex Wealth Management’s marketing automation system, coordinating marketing activities, and analyzing lists and lead growth.

Before working at Annex Wealth Management, Jeffrey worked for both the marketing agency MERGE World and the radio broadcasting group, Entercom Communications, currently known as Audacy, Inc. He is currently also a board member for the Milwaukee based marketing association known as 414digital.

Jeffrey earned his initial education from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He specializes in digital media, email communications and marketing automation.

Jeffrey enjoys the video game industry, film production, voice acting, podcasts and stand-up comedy.

Sarah Seefeldt

Client Service Manager

Sarah Seefeldt is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Sarah assists all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Prior to working at Annex, Sarah spent 13 years working at an RIA broker dealer in a role very similar to her current Client Service Manager position. Following that, she was at a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) for three years.

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from UW Oshkosh.

Outside of Annex, Sarah is an avid horseback rider and owner, raises and trains dogs (which she’s done for the past 20+ years), enjoys her hobby farm, and loves spending time with her family.

Maya VanderSchaaf

Bonnie Hittman

Bonnie Hittman is the Event Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As Event Manager, Bonnie helps Annex fulfill its commitment to empowering education by organizing and arranging client and prospect events. Every Annex event requires a combination of engaging content, prepared presenters, and the best possible experience for every attendee. Bonnie’s attention to detail at every level helps ensure every event is impactful.

Prior to Annex, Bonnie worked in the retail industry as a General Manager and Talent Acquisition and Retention Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Associate of Sports Management through UW-Parkside.

Additionally, Bonnie serves on a non-profit for high school cheer and dance in the state of Wisconsin. She’s also a trained dance adjudicator, holding credentials with multiple states as well as nationally known organizations.

Bonnie spends her free time with her husband, Charles, and two daughters, Abigail and Emmy. She enjoys traveling, watching her children compete in dance, and spending additional time with her two labradors, Grizzly and Clover.

Shannan Bowers

Prior to Annex, Shannan spent 13 years working in financial services at other firms. She appreciates the importance of building and maintaining client relationships and enjoys interacting with the individuals and families we serve. Shannan is always happy to help, she focuses on details and strives to provide the most efficient response to client requests.

Shannan grew up in Madison, WI and has lived in the area for most of her life. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Sociology and worked in advertising and communications prior to a 12-year departure from the workforce to stay home with her two children.

In her free time, Shannan keeps busy with home improvement projects, visiting sunny places, and traveling to see her children who live in New York. She also enjoys spending time with her blended family including four additional children and five grandchildren.

Nellie Gaecke

Andy Eichel

Andy Eichel is a Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Wealth Manager, Andy meets with prospective clients, working to secure the client relationship and then oversee the relationship for the long-term. Wealth Managers conduct initial portfolio reviews with clients to determine or validate current investment objectives; prepare recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning team; and engage in business development to deliver results.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Andy served as an Investment Consultant at a regional bank, where he focused on tailoring investment strategies to individual needs. His tenure as a Retirement Specialist allowed him to deepen his understanding of retirement planning, with additional experience adding a broad perspective on fund management and client relations.

Educationally, Andy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which laid the foundation for his career in financial services. Committed to continuous professional development, he has successfully completed the Series 7, Series 6, Series 66, and Series 63 certifications, equipping himself with a comprehensive understanding of securities and investment practices.

Outside the office, Andy is an avid golfer and skier, always looking for new challenges and adventures. Traveling and exploring new places is a passion, and he cherishes spending quality time with my friends and family.

Sherry MacGregor

As a Tax Planning Associate, Jess plays an important dual role on the Annex Tax Team. She uses leading-edge tax preparation software to ensure the timely and accurate filing of income tax returns. In addition, Jess employs proactive tax planning strategies to help guide individuals and businesses towards making tax-smart decisions and minimizing taxation over time.

Before Annex Wealth Management, Jess worked in the tax industry for Texas local CPA firms. Jess is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidate and graduated from Texas State University with her master’s degree in accounting.

Jess enjoys hiking with her dog, practicing martial arts, and spending time cuddling her cat.

Brooke Wilken

Leesa Gilliam is the Director of Business Development at Annex Wealth Management.

Leesa earned her Bachelor of Business Communication from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, MN. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).

Ross Hoffmann

Ross Hoffmann is an IT Systems Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As an IT Systems Manager, Ross oversees technology operations at Annex Wealth Management as well as provides technology solutions that contribute to the firm’s goals and results.

Ross has been working in the IT field after getting his Bachelor of Business Administration – Management Information Systems at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Before working at Annex Wealth Management, Ross worked for a few manufacturing companies including a cheese company, track/skid loader company, and an aerospace lighting company.

In his free time, Ross enjoys the outdoors and days by the lake, including fishing. He also spends time in the garage and at the racetrack with friends competing in events and checking out new places and car shows.

Austin Vande Slunt

Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Austin worked for a multinational investment and financial services firm as an Associate Private Banker, where he specialized in providing customized solutions to their wealth management clients. Prior to that, he spent his entire career with another large wealth management firm as both a Client Specialist and a Financial Advisor Foundations Program Associate, a highly competitive rotational program dedicated to developing the next generation of wealth managers.

Austin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied personal finance with a concentration in financial planning. He has also passed the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 examinations.

Austin and his wife Maddie are proud Wisconsin natives who currently reside in downtown Milwaukee. In his free time, Austin enjoys traveling, playing golf, listening to live music, and cooking for his friends and family.

Jeff Pierce

Jeff Pierce is the President and COO of Annex Wealth Management.

As President and COO, Jeff is responsible for executing the firm’s day-to-day operations, executing on the strategic direction, enhancing the client experience and engagement, as well as providing vision across the growing Annex team.

Prior to joining the Annex team, Jeff built over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving as President, CEO, and senior executive positions at several nationally prominent financial institutions. His deep expertise in data-driven RIA leadership helps drive growth, enhance client services and continue Annex Wealth Management’s commitment to delivering personalized financial solutions.

Jeff has received industry recognition for his leadership, including WealthManagement.com “Wealthies” Chief Executive Officer of the Year Finalist for Individual RIA Firm Leaders, Finalist for CEO of the Year at RIA Intel Awards, and ThinkAdvisor LUMINARIES award recipient for Executive Leadership.

Outside of work, Jeff can be found cheering on his two daughters at softball fields, basketball courts, and swimming pools all over Wisconsin. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, cooking for friends and family, and honing his golf skills.

Brian Lamborne, JD, LLM

Senior Wealth Strategist

Brian Lamborne is a Senior Wealth Strategist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Senior Wealth Strategist, Brian works collaboratively with clients, Wealth Managers, and external CPAs and attorneys to provide guidance to affluent families, business owners, and corporate executives to create holistic plans centered around goals of personal wealth management, legacy, and philanthropy. His focus areas include business planning and transition matters, estate planning and wealth transfer, tax efficiency, and philanthropic goals.

Brian has spent his career consulting with clients and their advisors on business, income tax, succession planning, and estate planning matters. He has worked in the financial industry in the Advanced Planning Group at a national financial services company, and the Nautilus Group at a prominent insurance firm. Prior to the insurance firm, Brian worked for a national income tax consulting firm doing income tax and estate planning for small and mid-sized business owners.

Brian graduated from Albion College with a degree in Psychology. After several years doing tax defense work, he graduated from Roger Williams School of Law and then received his LLM in taxation from the University of Washington. He passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7).

Brian lives in Milwaukee with his dog, YubNub. He enjoys playing golf, hockey and guitar and hanging out with family and friends.

Ann Weaver

Controller

Ann Weaver is the Controller at Annex Wealth Management.

As Controller, Ann supports the effort to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and improving processes to allow for more time to focus on value added reporting. She excels at training and communicating financial information in an easy-to-understand format, and has experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

Ann is a Certified Public Accountant with a niche as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She has over 25 combined years of large corporate experience at McDonald’s headquarters, Rockwell, and Johnson Controls, taking on corporate accounting and external reporting roles, andat various accounting firms from Grant Thornton to Sikich, where she honed her skills at providing excellent customer service. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Illinois State University.

Ann lives in Hartland and enjoys spending time with her husband Warren and two children, Wesley and Ava, especially at their lake house in Park Falls, WI, enjoying the outdoors, and relaxing in nature. Whenever she can fit it in, she loves to dance.

Chris Burg

Accountant

Chris Burg is an Accountant at Annex Wealth Management.

As an Accountant, Chris supports the firm’s Accounting Department by handling accounts payable functions, performing account reconciliations, helping maintain the general ledger, and assisting and preparing accounts receivable functions and financial reports.

Before working at Annex, Chris worked as an Accounting Intern at The Marek Group in Waukesha and as a Business Systems Analyst Intern at Trane Technologies in La Crosse.

Chris graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a degree in Finance with an Accountancy Minor.

In his free time, Chris enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing basketball, and cheering on the Wisconsin sports teams.

Mack George

Mack George is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mack is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy. She partners with Human Resources leadership on a variety of HR functions.

Mack has a passion for building strong relationships and developing effective recruitment strategies to support Annex’s growth. Her career has been marked by a consistent focus on account management, business development, and talent acquisition in the financial services industry. Mack is committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for both candidates and employees, fostering a culture of growth and success.

Mack lives in Brookfield with her boyfriend, their black lab, Gaia, and cat, Mahkah. She’s also an avid golfer, coffee drinker, and hockey fan. A Wisconsin native, Mack spent several years living in Chicago before returning to her roots.

Allison is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has spent her entire career in the financial services industry developing an in-depth knowledge of providing clients with comprehensive wealth management.

In 2018, Allison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in personal finance and a leadership certificate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she graduated with honors.

Allison and her husband, Tom, live in Appleton and have three pets: a golden retriever named Bailey, and two cats, Puck and Pip. In her spare time, Allison enjoys traveling around the US and Europe, golfing, and reading books of all genres.

Drew Powell

Prior to working at Annex Wealth Management, Drew earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Cornell University. He was a student athlete during his collegiate career, playing on the varsity football team. Drew also has previous experience working at a local pizza restaurant down in Naples, Florida.

Before working at Annex, Sami spent eight years teaching middle and high school English in Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as five years working in marketing and communications at a commercial real estate company in Milwaukee.

Sami earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University and completed her teaching certification in Secondary English/Language Arts at Alverno College.

In her free time, Sami enjoys doing yoga, going to concerts, reading, going up north, and spending time with her friends, family, and 15-lb. Maine Coon cat. She is also a dedicated fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.

Lisa Angione

Lisa Angione is the Office Administrator at Annex Wealth Management’s Naples, FL branch office.

As Office Administrator, Lisa answers calls from current and potential clients, coordinates meetings, maintains client files and handles many administrative duties.

Lisa has taken on roles in a couple industries prior to joining Annex, specifically 25 years as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal, and several years as an esthetician and spa owner. Between each career, she was able to apply her legal background, pursue her interest in health and wellness, and meet lots of interesting people.

Outside of work Lisa loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking (which includes Mt. Washington), paddleboarding, snorkeling, or jet skiing. She has two grown daughters and lives in Naples with her Yorkshire Terrier, Jake.

Mark Schaefer

Trader

Mark Schaefer is a Trader at Annex Wealth Management.

As a trader, Mark executes the day-to-day implementation of model investment strategies on behalf of the Investment Committee. He plays an integral role of liaison between the Wealth Managers, Client Service Managers, and the Investment Management team.

Prior to joining the team full-time, Mark was an Investment Team Intern for Annex Wealth Management. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mark graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Personal Finance. During his time at UW-Madison, Mark was a member of the Finance and Investment Society as well as the Badger Blockchain.

Mark enjoys fishing, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Matt Kulakow

Manager of Tax Planning

Matt Kulakow is the Manager of Tax Planning at Annex Wealth Management.

As Manager of Tax Planning, Matt analyzes tax situations and implications of investment activities on the client’s tax situation, prepares pro-forma tax returns, meets with clients to answer any tax questions and gives them tax advice. In addition, Matt stays updated on current tax laws, educates advisors and clients on the implications of the law changes.

Matt is a graduate of UW-Whitewater with a Master’s in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He spent much of his career before Annex at CPA firms where he provided tax compliance and planning services to individuals and small businesses.

Matt lives in the North Shore with his wife Lisa and their two sons. When not working Matt enjoys volunteering with his community’s Little League organization and spending time with family and friends.

Nolan McIntyre

Wealth Management Assistant

Nolan McIntyre is a Wealth Management Assistant at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Wealth Management Assistant, Nolan assists with all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management.

Nolan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Personal Finance with an emphasis in Financial Planning. He has passed the FINRA qualification examination: Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam (Series 65).

Prior to joining Annex full-time, Nolan was an intern on the Financial Planning team.

Nolan enjoys watching and playing soccer, photography, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

Jess Jashinsky

Client Service Manager

Jess Jashinsky is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Jess assists all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Prior to working at Annex, Jess spent over six years working in a similar client service role at another wealth management firm. Before joining the finance world, she grew her experience in different areas of customer service-related fields. Jess is very client focused and always happy to help. She enjoys building and maintaining client relationships in her day-to-day activities.

In her free time, Jess enjoys boating in the Oshkosh area, picking up a good book, and spending time with her husband and their two sons.

Brandon Willis

Client Service Manager

Brandon Willis is a Client Service Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Client Service Manager, Brandon assists all service-related needs of Annex Wealth Management clients.

Prior to working at Annex, Brandon was a Financial Advisor & Director of Development with a national financial services firm for 8 years. He attended UW-Oshkosh, where he studied Criminal Justice & Political Science and played on the football team.

In his spare time, Brandon enjoys watching all Wisconsin sports, spending time with family, cooking, and playing with his dog, Crosby.

Clayton Beilfuss

Clayton Beilfuss is a Trader at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Trader, Clayton executes the day-to-day implementation of model investment strategies on behalf of the Investment Committee. He plays an integral role of liaison between the Wealth Managers, Client Service Managers, and the Investment Management team.

Clayton graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Legal Studies. Prior to joining the team, he worked as a business banking intern.

Chase Claussen is a Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Wealth Manager, Chase meets with prospective clients, working to secure the client relationship and then oversee those relationships for the long-term. Wealth Managers conduct initial portfolio reviews with prospects and clients to determine or validate current investment objectives; prepare recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning team; and engages in business development to deliver results.

Over the past decade, Chase gained valuable experience at various advisory firms, where he developed customized financial strategies to help both individuals and businesses navigate their investment, insurance, and tax planning needs. He became a part of the Annex Wealth Management team in early 2025.

A proud graduate of Marquette High School, Chase continued his education at the University of St. Thomas, where he played soccer and earned his bachelor’s degree in Financial Management. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from the American College of Financial Services, as well as his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

Chase currently resides in Wauwatosa with his wife and their Bichon rescue, Buddy. They all enjoy spending time on Big Cedar Lake, golfing, playing tennis, and traveling. However, with a baby boy arriving in the spring of 2025, they’re preparing for a new and exciting chapter ahead!

Wealth Managers conduct initial portfolio reviews with prospects and clients to determine or validate current investment objectives; prepare recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning team; and engages in business development to deliver results.

Patrick has over 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry including financial planning, discretionary investment management, philanthropy, banking, real estate, and insurance. He has previously served the needs of affluent families, closely held business owners, attorneys and CPAs, and foundations/endowments. His career has taken him to Dallas, Chicago, and New York. He holds a Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) designation from the Kaplan College for Financial Planning, the State of Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance Licenses, and is a graduate of the Comprehensive Wealth Management School at the Cannon Financial Institute.

He is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a degree in Finance.

Patrick is a big fan of all our Wisconsin sports teams and especially enjoys college baseball. He is also an avid traveler having visited 15 countries as well as extensive travel in the U.S. He is interested in photography and collects coffee table books. He loves spending time with his extended family.

Katy Losiniecki

Katy Losiniecki is the Marketing Systems Administrator at Annex Wealth Management.

As the Marketing Systems Administrator, Katy is responsible for managing and maintaining data and integrations across multiple platforms used by the Marketing Team. Her collaboration with cross-functional teams and optimization of designated tools reinforces alignment with the firm’s strategy and goals.

Katy received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Since then, she has held many different positions within marketing in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, advertising, and relocation.

Katy lives in Waukesha with her husband. They enjoy boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Sam Harmeyer is a Wealth Manager at Annex Wealth Management

As a Wealth Manager, Sam works with prospective clients to establish strong, long-term relationships built on trust and transparency. He conducts comprehensive portfolio reviews to assess and validate investment objectives, presents tailored recommendations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning team, and actively contributes to business development efforts to support the firm’s continued growth.

Sam brings nearly a decade of experience in the financial industry. His previous roles include financial risk management and investor servicing, most recently working in retirement planning where he specialized in creating customized strategies for individuals and families to prepare them for retirement and ensure financial longevity thereafter.

A proud graduate of Carroll University, Sam earned his bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in Mathematics. While at Carroll, he was a member of the Pioneers baseball team and served as a two-year team captain.

Sam is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the CRPS® and CRPC® designations. He has also passed the SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 examinations and holds Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance Licenses.

Sam currently resides in downtown Milwaukee. In his free time, Sam enjoys playing golf and spending time in the city with friends and family. He’s also a passionate fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.

Anthony Mlachnik, MBA, CIMA®, BFA

Anthony Mlachnik is a Senior Wealth Manager – Annex Private Client at Annex Wealth Management.

As Senior Wealth Manager – Annex Private Client, Anthony is focused on High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth Wealth Management at Annex. Annex Private Client has a concentration on seamlessly aligning advanced tax, investment, distribution, estate, and philanthropy planning as well as other complex private wealth strategies.

Anthony is also a member of the Annex Investment Oversight Committee. In Anthony’s former roles he led investment research, investment selection and asset allocation, in addition to being on the Strategic Investment Committee. Anthony holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as well as the Behavior Financial Advisor designation. Anthony received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics.

Anthony has 20 years in the financial services industry and over 15 years of private wealth management. Prior to Annex, Anthony worked with clients and advisors alike; he led a regional office and a private client team and worked on firm growth initiatives. At Annex, Anthony supports firm-wide growth trajectory of sustainable growth in support of continuous improvement while deepening tools and resources for clients. Leveraging Anthony’s leadership experiences, Anthony will assist Annex Wealth Managers with training, development, and mentoring.

A next generation figure in the community, Anthony is a member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce Leadership Council. He serves as a Board Member at Saint Thomas More High School and Co-Founder of 24:Up, Inc.’s Institute of Basketball, which focuses on developing future leaders through the team sport of basketball. Anthony is an active supporter with Children’s Wisconsin and many different non-profits around the community. Anthony was recently recognized by BizTimes Media Non-Profit Excellence as a Next Generation Leadership Award finalist as well as receiving the Patriot Award given by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.

Anthony and his wife Kelly have four children and enjoy time together, with extended family, and friends. If you don’t find Anthony around the community, you’ll probably find him on a sports field or basketball court in his off time!

As a Wealth Manager, Mike meets with prospective clients, working to secure the client relationship and then oversees those relationships for the long-term. Wealth managers conduct initial portfolio reviews with prospects and clients to determine or validate current investment objectives, prepare recommendations of appropriate investment models and allocations developed by Annex Wealth Management’s Financial Planning Team, and engage in business development to deliver results.

Before coming to Annex Mike was a Vice President Investment Executive for a nationwide broker-dealer and investment advisor. In January 2022 he moved to work at another financial services firm in Naples, FL. Mike originally came northern Pennsylvania, most recently from State College, PA, where he had begun building his own financial planning practice with Weinken Wealth Management (Mass Mutual). While there he and his family lived on his wife’s family’s 600-acre farm where his chore was to help with the pigs.

While still in Pennsylvania Mike spent eight years in the PA Army National Guard as a platoon leader, fire directions officer, and fire support officer.

Mike graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a degree in managerial finance. He received his MBA from Strayer University and received his Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificates.

Mike has a one-year-old boy, a four-year-old girl, and a golden retriever named Al. In his free time, Mike spends a lot of time at the beach chasing his kids around, fishing, going on runs, playing basketball, and travelling. He takes an annual hunting trip to his hometown in Pennsylvania with the family over the Thanksgiving holiday. One of his goals in life is to visit every baseball stadium in the country.

Jamie Watkins

Jamie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate. During her time at UW-Whitewater, she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and the President of Law Society. Prior to joining the Annex team, she worked as a paralegal and portfolio administrator.

Jamie enjoys traveling, curling, golfing, and volunteering with Lions International.

Jacob Johnson

Jacob Johnson is an Associate Research Analyst at Annex Wealth Management.

As an Associate Research Analyst, Jacob works closely with the Equity Research Team, assisting with bottom-up research of equity securities and analyzing economic data.

Trista Hribrar

IT Systems Manager

Trista Hribar is an IT Systems Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As an IT Systems Manager, Trista oversees technology operations at Annex Wealth Management as well as provides technology solutions that contribute to the firm’s goals and results.

Before joining Annex, Trista served as an IT Systems Engineer at Enerpac Tool Group. She brings over 11 years of experience in the IT field and holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Concordia University.

Outside of work, Trista enjoys powerlifting, hiking, spending time outdoors, reading, crocheting, playing video games, and connecting with friends and family.

Hannah McEnaney

Compliance Specialist

Hannah McEnaney is a Compliance Specialist at Annex Wealth Management.

As a Compliance Specialist, Hannah’s responsibilities include the continuing development of all aspects of compliance, including regulatory oversight of all Annex Wealth Management advisors, supervision of accounts and transactions, and compliance with US Securities & Exchange Commission and related securities rules and regulations.

Before joining the Annex Wealth Management team, Hannah was a Compliance Associate at Patten Training and Review. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and legal studies.

Originally from Kansas City, Hannah now lives in the New Berlin area and enjoys spending time outdoors, with her loved ones, and her cat, Theo. She stays busy with coaching club volleyball at Milwaukee Sting, regularly cooking soup, and cheering for her favorite professional sports teams.

Joe Krauss

Media Producer

Joe Krauss is a Media Producer at Annex Wealth Management.

As Media Producer, Joe is responsible for sharing the stories of Annex Wealth Management. Besides writing daily radio updates for the Milwaukee market, he also interviews members of the Annex team to showcase the depth and breadth of expertise in all areas of financial planning including retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and investment management. He anchors our radio shows that air throughout southeastern Wisconsin, the Fox Valley, and western Florida.

Joe brings a unique blend of communication expertise, people skills, and production to Annex Wealth Management. Before joining Annex, he built a strong reputation as a trusted radio voice across the country, connecting with audiences in multiple radio formats and markets.

Outside of work, Joe is an avid youth coach for baseball and basketball, and a community advocate emcee for organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association and Wisconsin Humane Society.

Jimmy Schaeve, AIF®, CRPS®

401(k) Relationship Manager

Jimmy Schaeve is a 401(k) Relationship Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As a 401(k) Relationship Manager, Jimmy serves as a dedicated point of contact for plan sponsors and participants. He assists with plan administration, education, and investment-related inquiries, helping clients make confident, informed decisions about their retirement plans.

Before joining Annex, Jimmy had spent close to a decade in consulting roles but has worked in the retirement plan industry for the past 4 years. During this time, he partnered with organizations to design, benchmark, and optimize their 401(k) plans. He brings a background in finance and marketing from Marquette University and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, as well as his Charted Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) designation.

Jimmy lives in Germantown with his wife Kirsten. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying active.

Dylan joins Annex with over 10 years of industry experience, most recently working at a small RIA firm. He graduated from UW-Whitewater and has passed his Series 6,7, 63 and 65 exams.

Dylan and his wife currently reside in New Berlin with their dog. Being in nature, taking their dog hiking and camping are some of his favorite things. He also enjoys making sourdough bread and preparing a wonderful cup of coffee.
