To qualify, firms must: Be registered with the SEC; Operate independently; Serve primarily retail (non-institutional) clients. Advizorpro ranks firms using two key metrics: Assets Under Management (AUM): Total discretionary and non-discretionary assets managed; and Number of Retail Clients: Total individual clients receiving investment advisory services. Selection is independent and objective, and no money is exchanged as part of the process.

RIA Channel Top Wealth Managers

Disclosure: Awarded each May. All firms are active registered investment advisers (RIAs) with the SEC, and have no regulatory, criminal or administrative violations on file per the SEC as of March 31, 2024. All firms provide wealth management services as their primary business. These services may include financial planning, selection of third party investment managers, portfolio construction services, family office services, comprehensive estate planning, asset allocation services or similar functions to high net worth and/or ultra high net worth individuals. All qualified wealth managers with a two year growth rate of 30% or greater were ranked based assets as reported to the SEC on their Form ADV Part I filing on March 31, 2024. Assets under management growth rates are determined by RIA Database® (RIADatabase.com). Broker/dealers, fund managers and hedge fund managers were excluded. election is independent and objective, and no money is exchanged as part of the process.

USA Today Best Financial Advisory Firms

Disclosure: Awarded each April. The list will be based on the recommendations of clients and peers, along with the growth of assets under management at the firms. Collected via an independent survey among over 30,000 individuals. Both short-term (12-month) and long-term (5-year) AUM development were analyzed. Advisors that wish to be ranked must fill out a survey but do not pay to do so.
