Aleks Sesum

Aleks Sesum is the Director of Information Technology at Annex Wealth Management.

As Director of Information Technology, Aleks leads the firm’s technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital innovation initiatives. He focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that enhance both the client experience and internal operations, while aligning IT with the firm’s long-term strategic goals.

Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Aleks held progressive IT leadership roles at organizations including Exact Sciences, Reinhart Law, Charles Taylor, and Kohl’s. He led enterprise initiatives across infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and IT service delivery, with a consistent focus on improving operational efficiency, strengthening security posture, and enabling business growth through technology.

Aleks completed his education through Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, earning Associate Degrees in Business Administration & Management and Information Technology, with an emphasis in Security and Management. He holds several industry-recognized certifications, including ITIL® 4, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security+, and CompTIA Network+, along with multiple Microsoft certifications in Security, Compliance, and Identity, Azure, and Microsoft 365 Administration. He also completed the Principles of Leadership Excellence program through MRA. Aleks is known for building high-performing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering reliable, business-aligned technology services.

Aleks lives in Waukesha with his wife, Sarah, and their Corgi pup, Daisy. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, staying engaged with emerging technologies and industry trends, and actively contributing to his community through service and giving back whenever possible.
