Tom McShane, CPA

Tom McShane is a Tax Manager at Annex Wealth Management.

As Tax Manager, Tom oversees tax preparation, review and approval of tax returns. Tom leads tax client engagement, developing and executing strategies to minimize client tax liabilities. Tom’s tax specialties include tax planning for individuals and small businesses, tax audit representation and rental income.

Before joining Annex Wealth Management, Tom worked as a tax accountant for publicly traded companies and various accounting firms in the Chicagoland area. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has a Bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he majored in Accounting, Finance, and Operations.

In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, son, dog, and friends, cheering for Chicago sports teams, golfing, and eating at local restaurants.
